What Does a Million Dollars Get You in Denver Real Estate?

Ойын-сауық

I lied! The Wash Park house actually closed for just over a million, so they're not all EXACTLY a million dollars. But I know you beautiful people will forgive me. Right? Right????
Today we're looking at what kind of home you can buy for a million dollars in Denver, Colorado. It's probably different from what you think, and it's definitely different from what ten-year-old Sam expected.

Blown away that a townhome in Lowry is a million. I lived there 10 years ago, nice area but price still seems outrageous

It's crazy! To be fair, this was in Boulevard One, which is probably the nicest part of Lowry. FWIW, I just put a client under contract there on a very nice fully furnished townhome for under $900k...but yeah, I get that's still a lot.

For a million dollars they are very big and nice houses, here where I live they are much more expensive.

Oh dang! That is not what I expected. Goes to show, though, real estate pricing varies drastically by location. In my hometown, a million still has you living like a king (okay, maybe not a king but a well-off prince 😄).

Pretty crazy to think the first million dollar home could be had in other states for about 500k...but like you said...location, location, location. If I would spend a million it would be on the first one IF it did not have an HOA lol...the rest of them are not worth it at all...I think to buy those other homes for a million it almost has to be disposable income that really does not effect your budget in the slightest. Great info/video!

Thanks Greg! I agree, it’s crazy that some of these are million dollar homes at this point. And yeah, the higher in price point you go, the more it just gets to be “fun money”…I know of one buyer who bought a $175 million penthouse in NYC sight unseen as an investment!

That's interesting. Registering with google as "other" on race and gender spawns weed ads. anyways. I don't think people understand how angry people are over what's happening economically. I'm an old man, and my generation has really screwed the millennials and younger over in ways that will be felt for years to come. How on Earth could we allow this to happen? Those 'kids' are our future. This has happened. Greed. The new LLPA law is shameful. Why would you consider even for a moment that a 1k square condo in Boulder would be worth a million dollars? What is happening? Wake up America.

Watched the entire thing, it’s crazy to think the value of the homes are more based on factors that aren’t actually in the home. But like you said it’s value is based off of the family and what the area and home mean to them. Would love to connect with you if you ever have time 🎥🦾

That's right! For another extreme, take a look at the San Diego area, where it seems like average 2-bedrooms nowhere near the beach all cost $1.3m. And yeah, hit me up anytime!
