What does a 24 HOUR MTB Race FEEL LIKE!?!?

Спорт

What does it feel like to race a mountain bike for 24 hours straight? In this video I tell my story of racing the 24 hours in the old Pueblo mountain bike race. I raced the solo category, but most of the racers out here are on a team.
In this ultra distance cycling story, I talk about what it feels like to raise a mountain bike for 24 hours. I show the highs and lows and everything in between. My 24 Hours in the Old Pueblo Story. 24 Hours in the Old Pueblo breakdown and event story. I also got cactus stuck in my arm. That was rough.

Thanks 🙏 That is technically me flying it. It’s a follow drone that I control from my phone, I can control the angle and height, but it keeps me centered and won’t crash. No 3rd party operator needed. They have since discontinued this drone model though.

Still pissed you won't be in Kansas this year (I get it dude, I just really wanted to meet you and shake your hand 😎) Just another THANK YOU for an awesome film, and THANK YOU for reigniting the fire to get me across the finish line in Emporia.

Tyler, your description of the great bonk in the middle of the night is amazing to hear. My buddies and I occasionally do 24 hour mtb races, and we all have stories about that shared experience. The focus required, just to survive, while everything is hurting, sends us somewhere we didn’t know existed mentally. Makes for some pretty funny stories too (after the fact, type II fun). Kudos to your son for pushing you!

The way you’re able to keep hope and maintain your mental fortitude during the key moments of wanting nothing more than to give up is what sets you apart. From you I’ve learned that riding bikes is often more about how mentally tough you are than how fit you are.
