there's literally zero reason to buy natural diamonds anymore as a consumer. No one is going to know unless you try and sell it, which most people don't.

You are right. I used to be a collector of natural diamonds, but the rise of lab-grown diamonds has impacted the value of my collection. So, I decided to liquidate it and venture into real estate. In January, I acquired homes in Malibu for $52 million, and the returns on investment far exceed what I earned as a collector.

I have a financial advisor (trader) she grows my liquid assets and I reinvest the weekly payouts back into real estate and long-term ETFs like VOO and SCHD. I have also started acquiring some tech ETFs, including IITU and IUCM.

Lab grown are real the difference is lab grown are extracted in a lab whereas natural diamonds were naturally formed by the earth. Lab grown are real don't let the name fool you.

Lab grown has been a talking point for quite a while. It’s a personal choice. We’d rather have one really special piece with organic diamonds than a bunch of lab grown.. but again everyone is free to choose whatever they like.
Picked up a amzwatch's watch as my first watch last month and I’m absolutely in love with it. Perfect size, looks elegant, very comfortable. Now my only problem is holding off from buying more watches so quickly!
It gets wild when you realize natural diamonds are a monopoly and their prices depend on the company’s excavating/supplying them (lab grown) PS: there’s planets that rain diamonds lol

Although you cannot determine if a diamond is mined or lab-grown using a common diamond tester, since both stones are physically and chemically identical, there are machines out there that will be able to tell the difference between the two. The main device used to determine whether a stone is mined or lab-grown is known as a DiamondView. Produced by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), the DiamondView uses UV lighting to detect a diamond’s fluorescence, which is the diamond’s sparkle. The DiamondView will then determine what type of stone your diamond is with the colour that the machine’s UV lighting exhibits. With the DiamondView, naturally mined diamonds will generally display a blue hue under a longwave UV light and yellow under a short wave light. HPHT lab-grown diamonds, on the other hand, display a yellow-greenish hue under both types of UV lighting

I believe I read somewhere that the machine that they put lab and natural diamonds in that can tell them apart does it by detecting impurities in the natural stones. So basically lab diamonds of the same grade and clarity as a natural one is still more pure
