Mercer, you are a waste of space. Your opening sentence could be applied to you, your party,all of the Tory cabinets and Prime Ministers of the last thirteen years that we,the people, have had to endure. And you are right about Starmer.

Mercer is simply one of the worst Tory MPs. His arrogance is beyond belief and he is guaranteed to lose his seat next year.

'Believes in nothing at all unless you vote for him.' Now that's a very emphatic statement without any wiggle room. I suggest it's a bit inaccurate because he believes in getting up each day.

If you believe that the truth matters why would you ever gravitate towards politics. It attracted all the wrong people. It can't survive that way in the internet age. Truth and transparency must win out. Or we are all doomed.

Starmer's got one main problem? Indeed, he is so much cleverer than you, and more honest than 99.9999999999999% of Tory MPs.

I will vote Starmer. He has single handedly brought Labour to a winning position despite Corbyn taking it to destruction

Because his arse was used to wipe the floor. Mercer is more useless than the balls on a dildo, but I guess he didn't feel like advertising the fact.

I think you mind have mistaken not having a rabid ideology (for which you are more than happy to destroy both your own party and indeed the UK) with not believing anything. Centrism will be much welcomed when Keir Starmer is in Number 10.

Did you never understand nuance, strategy, the beauty of an endgame perspective? You do clearly have some light behind you eyes in identifying Mercer as an arrogant, entitled dipstick.

Mercer an utter Tòraì berk! Have you ended veteran homelessness yet? Which you promised would be your priority. Went quite on that rather quickly?

Time for the Christian Peoples Alliance that has better policies than Starmer's party. That once stood for the poor & vulnerable.

I don't think the examples given are very good ones (the poppies etc. was a bit gimmicky and not really an accurate representation of events) but the point is ultimately a fair one. I would look back at Starmer's Labour leadership election pledges: 1. Increase income tax for the top 5% of earners - scrapped 2. End Universal Credit - scrapped 3. Abolish university tuition fees - scrapped 4. Green New Deal - considerably watered down 5. Common ownership of rail, mail, energy and water - largely scrapped (and I suspect eventually will not be in manifesto at all) 6. Free movement on leaving the EU - scrapped 7. Abolish the House of Lord - now completely unclear and wavering 8. A federal system to devolve powers - a year out from an election that he is expected to win, heard absolutely nothing on it There may well be more - but that is enough to make the point, that it is utterly obvious beyond denial that he stood on a far more left-wing policy platform to get that job than he ever intended to try and deliver in government. And I think voters are quite entitled to ask the question, if he is prepared to do that to his own party members, will he do it to the rest of us? And ultimately, what does he really stand for - what he told Labour members in 2020, or (to the extent he is telling us anything) what he is telling us now? Or something else entirely? Or not much at all?

Starmer who refuses to call for a Ceasefire of a Genocide is not a bad guy! Pray tell, what then is a bad guy?

Why does everyone and their dog need to call for a ceasefire anywhere. Starmer is the leader of His Majesty's Opposition, he is not in a position to do anything about it. Have the Government called for a ceasefire?
