    DAC offers wide variety of minerals. Which one is basic free choice for grass/hay fed horse? Is hard to know what to choose.

    I like the free range minerals but I was just wondering if the horses would ever take in to much of one mineral sense it's all mixed together?

    no.....they have a natural way of knowing what they need....they might use more at first until they find balance

    @@HandyHorsemanOhio I feed mineral like this. It works great. My farrier told me to do this. Some days I can tell she's ate more than others. I really like this method

    Mineral blocks are 95% salt...free choice mineral has a better balance for your horse

    I would be afraid the horse(s) would get over-dosages by free feeding...selenium is easy to get a toxic level.
