What do I do for a living?

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

In this vlog I introduce you to the pigeon that lives next door, work a day doing a demo, restore a handle and almost fumble a radio interview.

@@andrewperry1987 ow so? it's dead easy to get birds showing up regularly and settling if they're immobile, particularly after a few days of being fed and seeing you're not a threat. Also, if you mean his trades, maybe it is jobs on his own or family/friends' properties, but i don't see why a hobbyist woodworker/DIY'er would bother faking being a tradesperson on youtube when the hobbyist channels still do well and i've seen plenty of his projects completed in videos, so he clearly knows how to use tools.

You brought back some pleasant memories, I´m retired now, but after a day´s blacksmithing I would go home, down to the cellar, and turn some wood. I still have the fruit bowl, plates and spice jars I made in Yorkshire, and now, living in southern Spain I occasionally carve spoons from olive branches. I made everything except a pile of money -- there's a saying here, in the blacksmith's house, are wooden knives.

Loved the videos all the way from Australia. The video you did putting all the planks of wood in your wee car for new work shop bench, funny as mate. Did the same thing in Bunnings Hardware Store (drive through) with rock sheets in the family car with the wife. She's Irish hahaha. Must be an Irish thing to fit the unfitable in your car...."it'll fit"😂😂

Now I've only just found you via youtube shorts - I don't have tiktok, I don't want tiktok - and idk if it's because you're used to making short-form videos since you came from tiktok but personally I'd love to see some of the wood turning in real time (not all of it, I'm sure it takes longer than most people's attention spans last!) but a little here and there - the shaping and the detail work rather than the hogging off of material. just a thought. Cheers from Scotland :)
