FBI banking fraud. One can't bet on all the horses in a race at the same time, AKA to hedge a bet. Hedge a bet is to protect yourself against loss by supporting more than one possible result or both sides in a competition: AKA zero percent interest rates. This would create an average of zero percent interest rates. Not including the banks overhead cost to run a banking system. If the precedence is to reward the risk takers, then hedging a bet negates the risk. Which also negates the profits. Some horses you bet on wins, some horses you bet on loses, so in a hedge fund, there will be an average of zero. And remember, all these bets are on veblen goods only. Not our must have items.

Search for top 10 hedge fund manager and do some research about them here. Better than that pick a book about Hedge Fund , if you are interested to this field you have to put the required work (those man work 12-14 hours making 7 figures).

Wrong, most hedge funds beat the market but THATS not what you should look for . Hedge funds look to gain every single year no matter of the market. In 2020 with all the volatility, average hedge fund gained 32% this year vs about 15% for S&p

Invest it all in the index funds. Charge clients 20% of the profits. Also charge the clients 2% fee every year for buying the index fund

The only way i know of hedge funds is that they invest with money that comes from holding customer's money and then making a few pennies from every transaction until they have to return money from returned goods. If you handle millions of return like Zalando, you can get rich from this.
