It only gets bigger with speed. It's not your average turbo car where it hits you in the back at 5k. The torque was much needed in this platform

I have an HPE850 Shelby. The difference before and after the Hennessey package is incredible. Would love to put my car against the new GT 500. That would be interesting

Steve Lynch the point of these test is not who is a better driver, so try to have it car vs car ( also one of the reasons they switch cars) The point of it is figuring out whether putting in a super charger is worth it and what do you expect to see.

Great to the point video. The sound was amazing. The difference will be staggering on a road course. A 2 1/2min course would show a drastic difference between the two. I’ll bet the NA 350 would get lapped within five to seven laps. Oh ya, did I mention the sound is amazing?

Darkwhite, They are! Test drove one... twice lol Such a nice car, engine, rear end, seat, exhaust set up, tyranny. Everything about them is awesome. I was so sad when they left all the hard work on the engine alone, GT500 nope... GT... nope *sigh*

Is there a difference in the exhaust sound?

Adding an extra 300+ bhp with very little weight gain I was expecting a much bigger gap. It jumps a lead but the stock does a really good job at keeping the gap small. Last race only looked more dramatic cos the guy in the glasses jumped early.

For what that package costs, the gap wasn't impressive at all...

The point isn't power, sure you can apply upgrades for 10k that would be much faster, but it will effect the life of the car by alot , this is an upgrade you can daily drive with so in the long run its cheap, plus the gap is actually huge, take them both on a track and the supercharged will be a few busses ahead

For those of you saying that you expected a bigger difference. As the horsepower goes up, you see less time shaving. This is showcased by drag times. Where a vehicle with 600 hp can be a 11 sec car, you can see a 1000 hp 10 sec car.

All I know is that both cars are fantastic and I love American cars and car culture. Wish I could live there!

What I learned from this video is a stock GT350R is about 0.75 seconds faster from 50-100 mph in third gear than a stock 2001 Corvette Z06. I just happened to have a third gear pull of my Z06 in my phone lol

Wish I could afford to send my caddy to them honestly!

Those automatic gear boxes from all other brands hurt so much compared to the manual gear box of a mustang. I am the proud owner of a new focus st 2019 with a 2.3 ecoboost 280hp (I am from Europe).
