my former science teacher (who hated me) sent me to the office for drawing Will Byers from Stranger Things during the same video we had watched 2 times before about cells. It wasn’t an inappropriate or gory drawing, it was just him in his D&D costume from season 3. I broke down crying because even after my 6 years at that school, I had never been sent to the office. Luckily the office lady was chill and just let me sit down and draw for 10ish minutes. When I came back the whole class got a lecture about “respect”, but the whole class stood up for me, and told her how we had seen that video and videos like it multiple times, and it was getting repetitive and boring, and how we’d been studying cells for 4-5ish months. Anyway she did a bunch more shitty things, but this year because I moved up a grade, I got a new science teacher, who is amazing, gives us free days sometimes, has engaging lessons and experiments, and is an amazing person. wow that was long. one time the crap science teacher sent an email to my parents that I was disrespecting and disruptive for leaving class when she said to go, but apparently it wasn’t time to go. screw you Ms. Kumar.

Story 7 (the one where the kids inadvertedly sell their friend by leaving a trail) reminded me of this in school. It was in Chile, the year is 2005, we were seniors, just waiting to get out of school and go to uni. As final year students, we didn't care too much about possible repercutions to lesser infractions, because hey, it's our final year. So, having just seen the last movie of the starwars prequels trilogy, one of my classmates, a big starwars fan, decides to have Anakin's hair: keep it short but grow a rat-tail. His "Padawan tail" he called it. Most of our teachers didn't care about it, but there was one that insisted this guy to cut of his hair. He'd say "Ok" and then not do it. Rinse and repeat next week or so. This situation continued for many months, he was sent to the principal's office a few times, principal would laugh about it and sent this guy back to class, literally nobody cared about his "padawan hair" except this teacher. November comes and is about to go (South hemisphere, so we are in spring, about to go into summer, and summer vacations. So, this means we are about to be out of school forever) Something possesses this teacher. He decides that, since my classmate has done nothing about his hair, he'll do it. He goes and grabs a pair of scissors, sneaks behind this guy, and goes it for the cut. Now, two things are of BIG importance here: First: this teacher slipped in the stairs at the beggining of the year (think march-april-ish) and broke his wrist. He's healed at the time. Second: My classmate is (at the time) a brown belt in karate. So, he feels something metallic brush against his neck, and his reflexes kick in. He spins around, grabs, twists, feels a crack, and then realizes he's holding this teacher's hand. And the teacher is screaming in pain, because his weakened wrist is broken again. Two more teachers arrive on the scene, one grabs my classmate (who is now freaing out) and the other one carries the injured teacher to the nurses office, and then the hospital. My friend is sent to the principal's office The injured teacher arrives a few hours later, his wrist encased, furious and demmanding expulsion, cancelling this guy's year (therefore, invalidating his studies and forcing him to retake the whole year), the whole nine yards. After he shuts up, the principal (who had already listened to my classmate's version) just asks one question: "Why were you sneaking behind a student with a pair of scissors?" The teacher is in silence. The principal says there was no ill intention from my classmate, he was just defending himself. And told the teacher he'll be on paid leave because of his injuries but if something like this ever happens again, he'll be fired, because this was unnacceptable. My classmate is then sent to class (it was almost the end of the day at this point) and he tells us the tale. It should have been the end... But since some of my classmates were idiots, they started loudly telling anyone who would listen about what happened, how that teacher got what he deserved, etc. He became a mockery around school grounds. So, this guy is called into office again, is told they know he didn't start the mockery, but they can't allow a "figure of authority" to be ridiculed, and he has to face some form of punishment because this might set a bad precedent for other situations should they happen, so he's suspended for 3 days. TL,DR: Classmate breaks teacher's wrist in self defense, goes free, then my othe classmates spread the story, teacher is ridiculed by the whole school, OG classmate is suspended 3 days even while they knoe that wasn't his intention.

I once got in trouble for tying my effing shoe. I kid you not one time in the 2nd grade I was trying my shoe as it was obviously untied. My teacher saw me do this and told me to go to the principals office. I learnt later that day my teacher wrote me up for “playing with my shoe laces”. I was a good kid and never got in trouble so this confused me and looking back at this makes me angry sometimes. Edit: and the principal at the time was kinda a hot head so it didn’t help at that age that the principal was pretty much yelling her head off at me.

Strangely, not the first time I’ve seen a story where someone got in trouble at school for tying their shoelaces

I once got in trouble for punching a kindergartener when I was in 5th grade, turns out my bully punched the kid and blamed it on me by going by my name. Only got my name cleared when the teacher brought my bully in and asked the kid who did it, she pointed at my bully and said that my name did it. I was cleared of all wrongdoings and left that school soon afterwards

I was forced to take a detention for something that wasn’t my fault. I was often off sick & one of those days, I had missed a Spanish class where a homework was given out. When I finally got back to school & entered Spanish class, the teacher asked “Where’s your homework?”, to which I replied that I had been off sick from school, thus I never even knew about a homework. She immediately wrote down what I had to do for the homework & said in a very snappy manner “Get this done & have it ready to hand in to me for tomorrow’s lesson!”. So, I did the homework, making sure I did it to perfection, so I could please the teacher. When I came in the next day & I handed in my homework as promised, she then gave me a pink slip, which I immediately recognised as a detention slip. Immediately upset, I tried to ask the teacher why she was giving this to me, as I had followed her instructions to the letter. Then she just snapped “Well, you should’ve just done your homework in the FIRST place!”. This upset me so much that I immediately left the classroom & went straight to my form teacher, who then called my mum to come in & discuss the situation, as I was in tears by this point. Both my form teacher & my mum knew I’d done nothing to deserve the detention & they tried to have it annulled. Unfortunately, the Spanish teacher decided to be a stubborn bîtch about it & in the end, the detention stuck. However, as my form teacher still had some say in HOW my detentions would be followed out, he arranged for me to spend the detention in HIS classroom instead of the Spanish teacher’s class (which probably would’ve resulted in her tormenting me the whole time). Since I wasn’t the only person in that detention class, I couldn’t just sit doing nothing, as it would’ve been seen as favouritism. I ended up copying stuff out of a book, which I didn’t mind doing. My form teacher also tried to lighten the mood with a bit of chatter & even cracking a couple of jokes in between, so we felt more at ease there. To this day, my mum & I will never forget the kindness my form teacher had for me back then. 🥲

When I was in fith grade I was talking to my friend I’ll call Owen, a kid I’ll call Kia came up to Owen and smacked them in the face and walked away, I said to Owen “yo dose Kia always do this” and Owen said “yes” so I asked Owen “you want me to chunk Kia into the bush” and pointed to the big bush next to us and Owen said “yes” so I went to Kia and picked him up and chucked him in the bush, after I rushed back to my dad’s car but half way there a woman stoped me and said “did you put him in a bush” and I was like “ya he was being mean to my friend and being a little shit” and acted all sorry. The next day I was walking to my class and the principal pulled me aside and asked “did you throw the kid into the bush” and I was like “ya” and she was like “we’ll talk about it later-“ and I before she could I sprinted away.

so there was tis one kid il call him jimothy but he was like my bully and he was realy annoying and he would talk over me and stuff and it made me angry so i would hit him or like push him and then he would go and tell a teacher. but one day we were on a skiing trip in another country and my mum was one of the voulontary staff and she told me that she would protect me against getting told off. but one time he was dripping water on my forhead for fun with some other boys but then i tried to grab his hand but it slipped away because he had water on them and he started making fun of me so i grabbed his nose and then he told the headmaster i gauged his eyes out so i ended up getting in trouble. frick you jimothy
