The simplicity
What I really like about xavi is he usually dropped deep to picked up the ball in front of defence line, and then go to the middle of the pitch, and then 1 mins later he would be in front of penalty box, unreal work rate
I’m glad that people are still making Xavi analysis videos, so much to learn from him. Hell there’s so much to learn from that whole Guardiola era!

the thing that did wonders for me that I learned from Xavi was to hold the ball or make misleading motions while waiting for his teammates to get into a good position for a through ball this doubled my assists the next season

@Tod Dot idiot... seedorf has huge stamina in his prime. He so physical that he can help defence position and also attacking. Xavi not only great attacking and controlling the game but he can dominant and cut the opponent flow attacking . So clearly with xavi dominant and IQ give huge help to defence position. Is not about what their original position ,BUT is about their capability. Many great players especially the legend like Xavi and Seedorf can play more than 1 position. So eat up your shit 🤷♂️ So my formation can be 5 defence or 5 midfielder . Seedorf and xavi are great players

lol 12 players and no defensive midfielders, so no connection between defence and midfield , will get thrashed easily , playing R9 and henry out of position, only pep was able to do that not anyone can do it
