    In the end it is s show which has to be understood by the mases. Even if they tried their best to show this "real life" hacking ( can't say how legit it really was) the director had to find a way to convey those last moments to as many people as possible. As such the "blue screen of death" as something horrible but freeing at the same time seems very plausible. Lets say the Linux screen of death was magenta (if Linux has such a thing) the sceen could have only been understood by very few people. Maybe that is why they made this decision.

    Wellick is the sociopathic business executive that has enough tech skills to feel a kinship to Elliott, but also envy at Elliott's superior hacking skills. Contrast to Price who has all the sociopathic businessman but none of the tech ability. Wellick has a foot in both worlds. The comparison to American Psycho is a good one because they are portraying glossy "perfect" people on the outside with rot and corruption on the inside.

    I think Tyrell found his purpose in the forest, I say this because he finally realized that Elliot didn't really need him the entire time that's why he walked away. He finally gave up. He wanted to be a part of something bigger than himself and was trying so hard. When he realized that they had a high chance of dying at the end he probably became so delusional he stumbled into something similar to what Angela was thinking. The cry and the blue light was most likely him seeing "God" either that or he saw his wife and baby alive..

    I guess they made a great disservice to put something there and not come back to that later. @@Henrique.Souza0601 sometimes it's artistic input for potential use later. But then staff changes. Be it fired, hired, complete overhaul. Or, suits get involved and concepts take other directions. Then there's unexpected cancellation of the show. Depending when the notice happens, there may or may not be time to tie up all the loose ends. Much of it comes down to money, ratings, time. On many levels and every department. But yes, as a viewer it can be frustrating when it feels the creators miss obvious threads that need a better resolution.

    I don't know why, but since we saw their car hit a deer and kill it, I thought the creepy sound they heard was actually that dead deer's calf calling for its mother. What sounded creepy and terrifying to them was actually just the last struggle of a baby elk calling for its missing mother. It's like a nice metaphor for the subject of the Mr robot series. We can confirm that the sound has nothing to do with hallucinations, from hearing the same sound over and over again when Tyrell and elliot were together and healthy. I mean, I don't know why, but when I watched this video and remembered that scene, these thoughts came to my mind.

    I can't believe I never realize that... it just makes so much sense. I knew what was going on for the most part during a lot of the show, at least after a while with some of the stuff they had a lot of context when I really thought about it. I wanted it to be sci-fi so much that denied everything pointing towards the fact that was something else entirely. I think that's the biggest reason why it throws everyone for such a huge loop at the end. I watched it twice the second time being a few years ago. It's one of the shows where every time you watch it from beginning to end to see something new that you didn't see before. I really need to watch this show again!

  • @Henrique.Souza0601

    @Henrique.Souza0601

    Жыл бұрын

    Well I didn't think it was a huge loop in the end but just a repetition of the 1st season. For me this show just slows down and gets worse season after season. Season 1 is by far the best: shit happens all the time, I caught myself reading the episodes summary and it's amazing how much they squeeze in one season. Second season first half is so fucking boring that neither me or my wife could stand at the lame conflict between Elliot and Mr Robot. That's not what I signed for when I was watching the first season. I don't remember being warned that 90% of the show didn't matter because it was all about schizophrenic guy with DID, it just happened throughout the seasons 2-4 reaching 4 where ANY ANWSER WAS GIVEN about most of other characters just to focus on freaking Elliot's mind issues. I can tell you I couldn't care less about this other personality and it felt for me as repetitive and lazy. This show had so much to finish like that, it's just frustrating.

  • @SquashyNO.1

    @SquashyNO.1

    Жыл бұрын

    @@Henrique.Souza0601 Agreed! They definitely drop the ball! I wasn't trying to expect too much but I did have kind of high hopes and now that I think about it last few seasons did really suck... Literally every single character was left up in the air and they just focused on Elliot at the end to the point to where they neglected everyone else, there's so much that went on answered! I figured they may have done it because it seems like they were going to have more seasons but come to find out they don't plan on doing anymore. Freaking lame. The shows definitely good don't get me wrong but like you said to they really focused on Elliott's disorder a whole lot, to the point of making it kind of obvious what was going on as far as the confusion. In the first about season and a half of the show I really thought it might be something extra dimensional or something and they even had me thinking that again when they went to the large facility that rose runs. It's not so much that they didn't have any kind of sci-fi aspects to it, but when I think back on it it's mainly that they kinda gave it away when they focused on him too much. It was literally a textbook description of somebody with DID and I picked up on that right away by the end of the 2nd season. The ending was still kind of surprising but I think it was more the fact that I was surprised that I was right because I thought they wouldn't get such an obvious ending, I was really hoping that I was going to be wrong. Like I said though, still a good show. It still far surpasses a lot of shows on TV these days. Most shows these days (and at the time this was on TV):are waaaay too predictable, almost to the point of feeling as though I've already seen it before. There's definitely nothing like this on TV (that I know of) right now. Everything that comes out these days feels like it's just a remake with different chactirs. Atleast they tried, which is a lot more than can be said for most shows and movies coming out now. I've also noticed a lot of shows that are actually good that come out these days get horrible reviews by people that complain too much. Anything that involves any kind of thought process or complex plot that doesn't have way too much action or plot twists regardless whether or not it makes sense and is good is the only thing that gets good reviews. Sadly a lot of studios based whether or not they're going to make more of a show or sequel to movie depending on reviews.

    I’m one of the few who disbelieve this. I always thought that white roses machine worked, and the blue light is some effect of that. The show has always been factual, and not shown things that aren’t really there. Mr Robot is a character which we can see, because we see through Elliot’s eyes. Angela saw herself in the room where she meets white rose (check actress credits, it’s the same actress playing young Angela and girl in room) which further makes me believe that white rose’s machine worked.

    1. There is no indication that he died, you can survive stomach shots depending on where they end up. + we do not know how cold it was, the fuel station was near by and he finds something. its all up to thee question if thee supernatural machine stuff is a fantasy or not but if it is, so is the entire show.

    I love this theory. When I watched it, it just seemed like a metaphor where Wellick smiles and finds peace after all his struggling through the series and the loss of his wife and son. Linking it to the tech world like you have makes a lot of sense. If that was their intent with this scene it's fantastic.

    How tf this topic has like only 20-30k views on youtube??? With all the show in general, people didn't give a f**k about this show for some reason that i don't understand. I get that the hacking vocabulary might be tedious, but this is a GREAT show plane and simple (let alone that the hacking itself is not even close to be the central and meaningful part of the show).

    One of the main reasons why there isn't many videos on topics like this, is because of how strict the TV network is with copyright. A lot of Mr. Robot videos end up getting taken down because it includes footage from the show.

They foreshadow in the beginning of the episode how he wants to start again and move to a place where nobody knew him... and that's exactly what he did. He is surely alive and he found peace... for now

    I thought the sound in the woods was a deer as well. In remembering it now the deer the Dark Army agent killed represented Joanna and the noise he found was a crying deer representing Tyrell's crying son, alone after his mother's murder. Tyrell is happy because in his last moments he imagines he is reunited with his lost baby.

    An Android phone may show a blue screen of death, this screen indicates that the phone has stopped responding, just like Tyrell. all the way along the path in the forest we do not see how Tyrell uses his phone and asks Eliot to check the connection, because there is no connection anywhere in these places, it is very symbolic that he finds his phone which shows him that he died.
