I’m honestly not too shocked about how the four kids got expelled after covering the entire room with glitter in just a few minutes. It is extremely difficult to fully clean up just a single handful of glitter if it got on some things. I feel bad for that school’s janitor…

Are we going to ignore the principal telling a small girl to literally undress in front of him? I somewhat understand his MO, but he is not only insensitive towards swedish culture, the girl and the teacher as well as severely overstepping his boundaries as an educator. That Principal deserves to fired and sued.

In 11th grade I got expelled for "fighting." A dude hit my fraternal twin sister because she rejected him. The dumbass didn't notice that I was standing ten feet behind him. I walked up behind him, loomed over him (he was five inches shorter than me), and breathed down his neck. He slowly turned around and as he did so I stepped back and punched him as hard as I could. He instantly crumpled. I stepped over him and offered my sister a hug, not caring about how bad my hand hurt. A teacher walked out of her classroom and saw dudes unconscious body laying in the hallway. She immediately called security and I was escorted to the office by them. My sister was protesting that I did nothing wrong, but it fell upon deaf ears. I was expelled and our father came to pick us up. He asked what happened and my sister told him. His face contorted with anger and he drove us to the school board, demanding to see the superintendent. My father explained what happened to him and my sister and I backed him up. The principal was replaced the next week and I was unexpelled. The dude I punched wasn't in school for a month (I found out that I broke his jaw) and I wore a cast for a month because I ended up breaking my hand. I would do it again without a moment's hesitation.

I have a classmate who lived in Russia for most of her life. Apparently, she learned that the Swastika is a religious symbol (which it is) But she didn’t know that here in America, people tend to see it differently. Which is a problem since most of her shirts had one on them One day, during dress down, she wore a shirt with the Swastika on it. This being a catholic school, and world religions not yet being a subject, a lot of people got unnerved. Thankfully, there were no repercussions, as she was genuinely confused… and she got a new shirt. Now, we just joke about that time

The second kid got expelled for a reasonable cause - selling adult entertainment to minors is a serious crime. By expelling him and handing him over to his parents, they could show that they took the offense seriously, thus heading off any lawsuits from oher parents.

Easy fix on the shirt: place tape over the word or over a letter. She gets to wear it and be comforted, it also abides by the “rules”. Yeesh, now I realize I got the TAME version of all of this. When I was a student in Grade 7, EVERYONE sucked. Loud rulebreakers who were cheeky and toxic jerks, all in one classroom with... me. I, out of everyone there, was the one person who even bothered with the teachers. I ended up making great friends with most of my teachers and managed to claw through the year but not without some mental scars of frustration. I was still a bit of a control freak back then, so I tortured myself over keeping everyone out of trouble. It took me until the end of the year to finally care about myself and myself alone, and even THEN it was still a nightmare. I still remember how I spent the latter month of that summer just terrified at seeing ONE of their faces in my new class, or just my whole class being jerks. Dear 7C, Screw you.

I was expelled once (Like story 4, but I wasn't acting cool). I was 15 going through a graffiti phase and I admired graffiti. So when the school started back up again, I was happy because I got to bomb the school (bombing means spraying or tagging in graffiti vocab). So I asked my teacher if I could use the bathroom, once my teacher said I could go, I went to the bathroom. Did a piece and a few tags, and I was out of there, told a random girl I did graffiti in the bathroom big mistake. I went back to class and as soon as I went to sit down I head my name on the loudspeaker. I stand up, go to the principal's office. Long story short I got expelled, and I had to do 3 days of community service, my parents were not happy.

We had a rich girl transfer in our high school in 2014, I was a sophomore at the time. She rolls in being driven by I assume her dad, in this very nice McLaren. Designer clothes, expensive handbag, whole nine yards. Captivated a lot of the guys who were waiting at the front door waiting for school to open up. She had to easily be one of the snottiest people I have ever met, and acted like she owned the school. Well, fast forward to sixth period just after lunch times were closing up. Caught wind by one of the secretary's aids that she had apparently tried to strip in front of the principal in an attempt to seduce him. Needless to say, he was having none of it. She was, if they were correct(I believe it, she was never seen again), expelled.

Preface by saying this wasn’t a first day, just an expulsion I knew of. From what I knew when we were in middle school together, she was actually pretty cool. During the fall of my 7th grade, we had a one act play and a musical going. I was in the play, and she and this one other girl were in the musical (Alice and wonderland). She was playing the queen of hearts and the other girl was a butterfly character. Queen of Hearts asked out butterfly in front of everyone with flowers and she said yes and it was super sweet. That was my only knowledge of her before The Incident. Freshman year rolls around (queen of hearts would’ve been in her sophomore year) and I don’t see her anywhere. I ask some people what happened to her, and apparently she got expelled for doing cocaine in the bathroom. Wow Another fellow freshman I knew got expelled for showing up to homecoming high on weed.

13:55 that post reminds me of a time back in the early 2000s when the brand F C U K (French Connections United Kingdom) was all the rage. Students, especially girls (think giant Gucci or Guess logos of today), came to school wearing these shirts. The school banned them since it sounded like the f word. I think the banning was eventually lifted, since the brand officially opened a store in the city the school was in.

During my junior year of high school there was this guy who dressed up as a girl and claimed to be trans(spoiler: he was NOT!) his name was thomas but called himself thomasina. My high school was a little conservative but a major BUT It was very accommodating for people of the LGBT community. We had transstudents before and we didn't care but this guy oh my God I can't describe how much of an ass he was. He harassed everybody who were different compared to him which was kind of ironic. When he heard of a friend talking about his anniversary with his girlfriend coma he asked my friend if he fucked his girlfriend yet. One time he told one of the goth kids to kill himself because he was so weird. He was also very inappropriate towards girls. I have a high-pitched voice and it makes me sound like I'm a child even though at the time I was a teenager and when he heard me talk he harassed me to try to say dirty words to him even when I told him to leave me alone. At one point he even said that he would pay me in cigarettes if I could say the C word to him. I had enough and went to the principal's office to complain because that was sexual harassment and my school has a 0 tolerance of that. He was told to stay away from me indefinitely, got a police record and one more incident and he was gone. He stayed away from me but he still would not behave. The incident that finally freed us from this freak was when he was in a class that had free period and when the teacher left, Thomasina played stripper music and began to twerk. No he was a heavy guy with a 5 o'clock shadow wearing a Mini skirt with no leggings( Sorry for the gross visual) Everyone in that classroom high tailed it out of there and one of the assistant principals finally told him that he was done. He was expelled on multiple offenses and he threw the biggest bitch fit I have ever seen and claimed that he was going back to California where everyone would accept him. Good! We never knew what happened to him after he was kicked out of school but we were glad to be rid of him. The transstudents hated him and were glad that he was gone.

I had a situation similar to story 5 happen to me quite recently. I was off campus during a free period when I got a text from my brother asking me if I was alright. I said I was fine and was on my free period. He then explained to me that the school was on lockdown and wanted to let me know to get in a classroom quickly. Hearing the situation, I decided to head home for the rest of the day and started getting in contact with my friends to see if they were ok. Thankfully nothing bad happened besides scaring plenty of people and them heading home. The next day I was back in class and from what I heard this was all some dumb Tik Tok challenge and that it infected the entire school district. I don't know what happened to the people responsible for the incident as they seemed to be from another school, but it just goes to show how stupid and gullible people can be. Not a teacher for fill student who witnessed two different classes be expelled important to note beforehand due to her autism diagnosis. I struggled learning and got held back in 12th grade, so I had to repeat truth grade. The first incident happened the second year of tough grade for me. The kid always had some issues I’ve known him since elementary school known of him, but the average victim of bullying started as a behavioral child turned into Foronda Jaron telling me about that point he brought in a BB gun to school headed behind wanna twice in the boys bathrooms, at one point this being said, I wasn’t in the score for the whole Grandpa guys out with the rest of the resource class. Getting groceries surprise for a baking project we were gonna be doing. I don’t want her to secondhand it on. I saw the end results but the student like I said before a BB gun into the school, I hit it behind one of the toilets in the boys bathrooms, and then a couple of periods later went into the same boys bathroom into that say install and cream that he found it and cause a hoe lock down everything only for the principal and vice festival to find out that he was the one who planted there anyways he end up being sent via ambulance to the local children’s mental health facility and I was 12th grade 2nd time around so that was the 2011 2012 school year the year after I also was still in school for first grade year for vocational training through 2012 2013 school year and there was a student who was also in a car seat in trouble and I was being a sit in in the science class since a guy got it I didn’t need the Chris but I’d like to sign so as they are sitting in the science class and two friends of mine one who I see all the time to this day is better than being much younger than me because they live two doors down from me that were in the same apartment buildings in for that price to two doors down from mine so I still see them quite a kid ever but the kid who was causing trouble was causing so much trouble one day and no Neil this happened on the first day of school but this kid is causing so much trouble that I was getting frustrated my both of my friends of Casper through the teacher and she has a Philly new teachers like her first or second year as a teacher. All the students were getting frustrated it and honestly, thinking back to how even I was back then I’m surprise I’m not the one who yelled at the kid because the teacher started saying to go to the principals office to the bad kid and he just made a big and bigger seen and honestly I was after the one who will be most likely to yell at the kids, but no, it wasn’t me it wasn’t even in my best girl Paul, who would probably be the second most of all restaurants, or even the teacher is my friend who lives still lives two doors down from me the quiet kid, the reserve kid, who very loudly and aggressive with murder, which is something you never would’ve expected for them screamed at him to shut the F up listen to the dang teacher and go to the principals office and no I’ve added did the language slightly because my friend did not edit himself farm editing, what he said, when you get the quiet reserved autistic kid mad enough to do that, you know yeah After up, and when the principal investor found out that the kid who had been causing all the trouble made my friend act out like that needless to say, that’s what caused him to be expelled because I knew if they got that reaction on my friend that there is no way that he could be let back into the school so yeah, I witnessed two different students in high school be expelled and the new one cause I have no it’s one of my best friends who is the most quietest person to ever meet. I said be quiet, bad ass.

My sister was a teacher for about a decade and she once had a student come in almost an hour late. He went quietly to his seat and sat down. My sister stopped him at the end of class and asked him why he had missed most of class. His answer was "I went to wake my mother up to drive me to school. I found her dead in her bed and i had nowhere to go so i came to school." That was the day she decided that she would never form an opinion about a childs home life again.

Regarding the "sex" hoodie student: I can see the point of view of the principal. He sees a hoodie with the word "sex" written on it and knows that some students, teachers and parents may find it offensive, even considering the context. If he allows one student to wear a "sex" hoodie, he will have to allow other students to wear clothing with the "sex," all claiming it's the Swedish word for "six." And what do you think is going to happen if the Superintendent makes a surprise visit to the school and sees a lot of students with "sex" clothes? That principal is going to get fired. I don't think the principal got to fully explain his position. From the way the OP describes the situation, it seems like three people were talking at the same time with no one listening. When I was in school, if the principal told you to do something, you did it. Maybe you could have a further discussion later, but that moment was not a good time to go into semantics.

@@jackfoster7097Think about it like this: would you were a shirt that meant “sex” in large letters at work because it had sentimental value? What happened to Maya was indeed an overreaction on the principles part - I’m not denying this. However, there are some things that shouldn’t be enforced when preparing someone for the real world. Schools have dress codes (ideally fair ones) as a prerequisite for dress codes in the working world. You wouldn’t go to work with an ahegao hoodie on casual Friday, would you? It is just a word, and personally it doesn’t bug me. An ahegao hoodie is just pictures. However, there is a pragmatic reason behind why the hoodie shouldn’t be worn. In public it doesn’t matter, however in a public, professional setting things change. If the principle instead took the time to explain the situation to her instead of overact and threaten her with expulsion, things could have ended differently. Self expression should be fostered in school, however there are limits.

To everyone in the comments about story 7, last time I checked clothes with certain words even if they are in different languages are usually banned from school. And before you say anything like 'well it has a different meaning is Swedish', how many of you know a minor who knows words in different languages and even though the rest of the words on there were swedish that doesn't change the fact most people aren't going to think about that, plus if she can get away with it then others can use the same excuse and would be able to wear clothes saying possible offences and rasist things, also why are alot of you assuming that she might be topless under there, why is that where your minds are going and based on personal experiences and just knowing a lot of people (men and women) who wear hoodies, if they are going out in public, none of them go without a shirt underneath in case it gets wet or two hot or any other reason

I have a story that should have ended in me getting expelled but I didn’t. Happens inside the USA (important later). In my area principals have to call in parents if the kid asks, for the same reason that police are not able to question you without a lawyer if you demand one. One day in 7th grade My PE class went out the the track field but since the science class (can’t remember the exact name but not the normal science) were outside launching module rockets that they had been building for a few days. Me and my friends and most of the PE class were just standing around pointing out the rockets like kids that age did at that time. One of the girls in that class doing the rockets told the principal that I was doing finger guns at here, and she even had a friend to back her up. I knew which friend it was cuz they were walking back to class as I was called down to the principal’s office. That friend wasn’t even in that class at the time. The principal asked me for my side of things and I even said that I had friends that would be able to back me up on the fact we were pointing at the rockets and not making finger guns. Well the principal in his infinite wisdom refused to believe me and refused to call in other people from that class to see what they had to say. This was because the traffic cameras 2.5 blocks away had everything on video and that he had already seen it. After about 30 minutes of the principal demanding that I stop lying and tell him the truth and asking me the same question I started to demand that he calls my mom in (she didn’t take anything from the school and has been teaching in the same district for years so she knows about the rule with parents). The principal kept asking me the same question for 2 more hours saying that he knows I’m lying and they have video evidence but refusing to show it, all this while I’m demanding that my mom/parents get called in. By that point I was screaming and cussing him out because he refused to listen. The lady’s in the office called over the SRO from the other middle school in town. That SRO also refused to have my parents called in. (The SRO and I never got along for irrelevant reasons to this story). After 3 more hours of this they finally called in my mom, they only called cuz they held me in there so long I missed the bus home and they were planing on expelling me. So after about 5 hours of being asked the same question and getting the exact same response back my mom and dad finally show up. When the principal says that he is going to have me expelled I mentioned that I had been trapped in his office for 4.5 hours demanding that he calls my parents in. My mom reminds both the principal and SRO of the rule and say that you cannot expel him because you were refusing to follow this rule. It goes to the Superintendent of the district and he sided that I cannot be expelled for this event because of how long the principal and SRO refused to contact my parents. To make matters worse we had on file at that time that any complaints about us or that girl from the other they had to have our parents there in order to discus this for the reason that she had a history of trying to get us in trouble for anything she could. I honestly don’t remember why this was but it was happening since 2nd grade. TLDR: The principal ignored a school district rule and a file that was also on the record, wound up getting cussed out by a student for 4.5 hours and wasn’t able to expel that student. Sorry if the main story has little shoot offs that just how I remembered it while typing it out listening to the stories. Edit: The note on file was put in by our Elementary school principal when she figured out what was going on.

I wasn’t here for this but most of my friends were in the classroom where it all took place, I don’t know much about what happened so this is all I have, so in second grade I think that class had gotten a new student, he was alright at first but, I don’t really know why but he just got really really mad and started throwing stuff around the classroom, he was getting so out of hand that the teacher had to use herself as a human shield to protect the other students from him, the kid ending up throwing a binder at the teacher and she still has a scar from it ever since, I don’t know what happened afterwards but all I know is he was gone the next day and nobody knows for sure what happened to that kid to this day
