Another great video Eric! Man I gotta tell ya, I've always wanted congas for years and never bought a pair. Some how I came across your channel ( 2000 subs ago ). A couple weeks ago musicians friend had a great deal on meinl congas with bongos for $369. Man I jumped on it! Can't wait to start playing. Ps. wow! it's Christmas in October! those woodcraft bongos are awesome... I just came from the music store also, but didn't get anything for me, instead I got one of those yamaha Venova for my middle kid who's starting to learn winds, I'm amazed of how nice this little piece is... I'll be waiting to hear that 9" hembra, you must do some changüí con un vaso de ese tamaño 😮

I absolutely LOVE those bongo. I am dying to get a pair of those bongo. I don't know if it is the lighting but the color looks darker than on Meinl's website. Are those the Natural color or did they give you a darker tinted stain for yours??? I have some things pending, but when I'm done, I'm gonna get me a set of those. I love Meinl's cowbells. I have the Hand Cowbells - 7.85 and 8.15, and they sound great.

what size are they? and yes I'm pretty sure we all want to hear bongo tutorials lol just saying

Eric...you had a chance to compare Meinl's Pro conga bag to LP's Ultra Tek bag? I have hard cases and a number of conga bags and am looking to upgrade to a bag with more padding. Wheels if possible, however padding and construction are more important. Am in Hawaii and shops here have very limited options to look at. Would appreciate any thoughts on bags...Mahalo!

I personally enjoy the good old Shure SM57... It's a workhorse, and went EQ'd properly, you can get some really good juice out of those mics.
