Not sure so check with DeWalt but I think the positive placement nailer is designed for e.g. joist hangers and nail plates (with the appropriate nails) hence the short max nail length of 40mm due to joist thickness.If so,that wd be way quicker than knocking in square twist nails by hand.
Only 1 year warranty on DeWalt DCN680D2 18v XR 18GA 2nd Fix Brad Nailer Inc 2x 2.0Ah Batts and DeWalt DCN692N-XJ 18v XR Brushless 1st Fix Framing Nailer Body Only. Does this sound good.when Dewalt don't give a extended Warrenty!! They don't have much reasurrance with nail guns.
can you adjust the power on this? It's ripping through some vinyl trim and I need to lower the punch- is this possible?
Isn’t the 681 the same gear as the 682 just without the angled head?

The DCN662 and DCN660 are NOT brad nailers. They are straight and angled, respectively, finish nailers. The DCN680 is a brad nailer.
