I don't think this gen has any worthwhile cards to upgrade to (4070 maybe) apart from the 4090 if your mega rich. Hoping the 5k series is a bit better price to perform and better price in general

The simple reason for this is because the higher the graphics the less the cpu is used and the more the gpu is used so you don’t need as powerful of a cpu

For higher resolutions, the GPU starts to overtake the CPU as a PC's bottle neck in terms of FPS. For 1080, you could pair the 4060 Ti with a slower CPU, but your FPS would start to fall. For 4k, already the result is not great. You could pair it with a faster CPU, but your FPS will never increase, because the bottle neck is the 4060 Ti.

@@senorbonbon if you really want to stay with Nvidia I'd say 3060 ti or 3070 unless you want to use dlss 3.5 . If you want better price to performance go for a 6750xt, it has better vram and runs much better for a lower price

@@bennyok4725 dls 3 is only on 40 series cards like amd with therer software i can fabricate frame rate and make any game at any resulution push high fps

The 5700x has been treating me well at 1440p with a 4070ti. I technically could gain some more performance with a 5800x3d but not all games will show a big difference and I prefer the better power draw and temps of the 5700x. I will wait another year and hop onto AM5 with the 7800x3d when it comes down more in price

You mean 5800x3d right? 5600x and and the 5800x (non x3d) peforms the same in games. You can save money and get the 5600 or 5600x if you only play games or if you want something faster 5800x3d is a great option.

I use asus rog strix g16 (laptop) with rtx 4060 and i7 13650hx. I play on 1080p, ray tracing overdrive, max setting with FG, RR and dlss on balance. Getting 70 - 80fps (lowest 63 fps)

Idk why so many people hate 4060 and 4060ti it’s a good graphics card and it can run games like apex up to 290fps that’s good for $300 £300 you might be able to get better graphics cards for that price but it’s still good for newer gamers or if your second pc you have got but 4060 and 4060 ti dose not deserve so much hate.

Those are the people that already have a 30xx Series NVIDIA card. If you don’t have a GPU at all. Then that does not apply to you at all. Just as for the 3060ti. the 4060ti would be perfect for anybody 1st time build. If you already have a 30 series gpu. There’s really no performance upgrade.

From strictly gaming perspective I don’t see a reason to get a 4060 Ti over something like a 6700 XT but I’m interested in seeing what this card can do from a python programming perspective with Ai Training. Trying to find that right balance between productivity and Gaming. The RTx 3060 was just too slow of a clock even though it had a bigger bus for the RAM. So I’m going to roll the dice on the 4060 Ti and hope that it not only does well in gaming but also in Training Ai.

At 1080p the best processor for 0.0 bottleneck which I researched on many different pc parts pickers and regular research I came out with the intel i7 12700KF as the best processer for the 4060ti with 2 fans

@@hamzasam9591because the higher the resolution the more demanding it is for your gpi and less for your CPU so you don’t need a good of a CPU at higher resolutions

@@vitorpoggiato4307 hello friends, I don't use my specifications to play games with 4k resolution, for me 1080p to 2k / 1440p resolution with high settings on the game is enough for me, and really smooth, for gaming or everyday work, using my computer for work 70% and gaming 30%, and of course my monitor doesn't support 4k so what's the point

@@driiip-y4901 Yeah esports games are usually the most CPU heavy games. In a game like Valorant a new GPU don't change the FPS much if anything at all compared to changing your CPU that makes a big difference.
