@@lesterpaul9657 All of these performers here in Gone West could easily stretch out the rest of the lives (mostly on easy street), but they don't. It's in their blood. They can't help it. They want to write, collaborate, sing and perform. It's what they do. It's who they are. I've been around the music block a few times myself and as they say "This ain't my first rodeo". Even in this sarcastic, superficial, mean spirited time that we find ourselves in today, the cream still rises to the top. You just have to be persistent, patience, and don't give up. The good stuff always comes through. Peace.

I Grew up with country music from the 40-early 2000's this is at the point I lost that feeling. Wow wow you are all amazing! Please don't sell out to the machine we need your music. I just discovered you all last week and I am sharing with so many individuals. Peace Love Light You all are a shining Star light

The best country music obviously isn't coming out of Nashville. This is simply brilliant! My favorite new band!

David DiMuzio Agree this is brilliant and each of them have earned their place in music, country too. Colbie Caillat California native, songwriter and musician who’s well known by most and she’s known and worked with Jason Reeves since her career started. Jason of Iowa is singer songwriter who wrote and won awards for her songs Bubbly and I Never Told you, and more. Jason who is married to Nelly Joy aka Danelle Leverett of Texas is too a singer songwriter. She was half of the country duo The JaneDear Girls. Danelle’s has been writing for Kelly Clarkson, Big and Rich, and Colbie to name a few in Nashville. Lastly Justin Young is an American singer popular on the Hawaiian contemporary music scene, and he opened for Cassadee Pope. He’s engaged to Colbie Caillat. Here’s two couples, and all 4 put their amazing talents together, their songs are well written and harmonies are amazing. Doesn’t matter to me where they’re born, raised or currently live, as we all know Hollywood & Nashville are similar places and artists typically travel between East and West Coast, they’re more a like than different.

This song basically reeled me into country music at age 45. Incredible.

I cannot get enough of this song, this group. This track has been on repeat for me. The tight harmonies are just beautiful and give me goose bumps. Definitely Little Big Town feels .... but better !!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

I just saw Gone West live on Saturday night, outdoors at Mystic Lake in Minnesota. I had never heard of them before. Now I'm a big fan! I too am a proponent of live music, as opposed to the studio sound. Gone West is no exception, they were FANTASTIC live! Beautiful harmonies, just a great sound! I wish you guys all the best! Sorry we have so many bugs Colbie.

Colbie's voice is as melodic as they come, backed with amazing harmony, and subtle musical nuisances. Simply brilliant.

Just saw Justin playing with Jake Shimabukuro tonight in Prescott AZ. The concert reminded me of this song and here I am. Gone West was so amazing. Magic.

My word guys, this song really hits a major nerve with me. I'm a grown man and there are tears in my eyes.....and this beautiful performance was a live performance. When a group is able to sound this polished and wonderful live (sadly not many groups can do this), that lets me know that they are the very Real Deal. This is unbelievably beautiful. No chance it'll be played on Country Radio though as it'd put the fake country singers out of a job.

My boyfriend died in January of congestive heart failure he was 46 and this song came out just prior to him dying and it was our song through and through, I miss him terribly and he was the love of my life and now a memory

This is what country music is all about. Feeling, soul and clean lyrics. One of the best songs I be heard.

Everytime I hear this song it gives me goosebumps, its so good. I was lucky enough to see them live last year and am very sad that they have broken up.

I have listened to this song a 100 times a day for a week! Absolutely awesome!

It saddens me that Colbie and Justin look at each other during pivotal moments of these lyrics after their breakup. He is so handsome and has an awesome voice. She’s a gem.

This group deserves fame and to be known around the world! Coblie and Jason are one my favorites during early 2000. I love this kind of music.

...the best singers group i have heard for a long time. I've always loved Colbie's voice, but with this group it will be taken to a higher level. They definitely deserve more attention, but must not be burned by the music industry! Keep on...

First saw Colbie Calliat in East Stroudsburg in PA when she opened for the Goo Goo dolls. I did not hear them announce her name so I thought she was a local kid from the high school or university. She was up there with no backdrop just singing with the voice of an angel. Her voice is those one in a million that has such a tone that it is impossible not to be mesmerized. This song is no different and with a band that compliments her voice well so happy she is back out front with new music.

A year ago when this was performed at the Troubadour (God I hope these venues can survive!), you could go to any big name country show at Staples or the H'wood Bowl and not hear anything better than this band - Gone West is musically and vocally superb. But it's the songwriting that stands out. So many artists in the country genre (and it's 300+ sub-genres) don't know how to write a decent song anymore. The Gone West album is loaded with beautiful songs with sly hooks and simple, memorable melodies. The first time I heard this song, the opening didn't catch; I was thinking this was just another country ballad. Then the chorus hit. Then my divorce years ago came to mind. The lyrics merged with reality and I was immersed in the song, the dreamy harmonies and such a easy flow about it. Instantly, yesterday, I became a big fan. I hope live music returns soon. I wish you all the best in this wacky music business.

If Colbie Calliat's name is on it its worth watching.... then it becomes your favorite song. What a bunch of talent she surrounds herself with! AWESOME!!! Big fan!!

best live version i have ever heard. Most live performance feels like i am listening to a whole different degrraded version, hell, sometimes it feels like a different artist entirely. This song sounds better than the music video.
