It was for the purpose of the video. At the end all the colours she used to pain the faces blend together, becoming one. That’s signifies that it does not matter what the colours of your skin is. Sorry I cannot explain it better :(

Mix yellow and red, if it's too red, add green. If it's too yellow, add purple. If it's too orange, add blue. Get a base and try to cancel the colors out whenever you feel like there's too much of one color. If you're using watercolors, add more water to get lighter skin tones or just more transparent colors that show as light on paper. If you're using acrylics, use white. It's your best bet at getting a lighter color.

Red, yellow, blue. Color theory: blue and yellow make green. Green and red make brown. For olive tones add yellow, warm tones, more red, cool tones add blue, neutral keep it balanced. Add white or black for lighter or deeper tones. Make one base then add respectively more pigment to make shadows, blushes, or other skin tone variations. This is easier than constantly adding more to balance out

Not an art student, but draws a lot; I just mix red/pink and orange/yellow then use white to lighten it up. Depends on what artstyle and vibe you’re going for because no perfect skin tone exists.

So inspiring to watch. I'm practicing the face and understanding how to "block" shadows or just understand shapes and light (and shadows) better. It's so helpful to see you use all these different colors because it helps me shift from "this is a nose!!" to "this objects had this shape and shadow". Also loved the comment at the end. It does not matter and I'll keep supporting all POC out there

@@kimochiwarui8264 I know I’m late, but learn how to break down faces into basic shapes and proportions! I recommend watching a few Ethan Becker videos, since he has some great advice on how to properly draw with reference and he’s pretty funny too(though I’d get why some people might not like that since he isn’t very serious)

가장 최근에 봤던 유튜버중에 제일 설렌다 다가오는 의미가 남다름.. 나도 이런 재능으로 뭔가 전하고자 하는걸 표현하고싶어..

I've been drawing and painting since I can remember. I used to be really very careful of what I was doing and get scared of ruining the art. I didn't improve at all over the years. But then one day all my sketchbooks were ruined due to rain water soaking them. Then I realised that everything was temporary and that was a liberating moment for me. After that I started experimenting more and became bolder in creating art. I improved quite drastically. I'm still bad at art but I see myself improving everyday. I love this new process. It fits me right. There are some artists who take a really careful and calculated approach to art and create masterpieces. But I'm sure they aren't scared at all. The point is being scared to ruin what you are making is normal and a part of me always is afraid of that. But one must look past that fear to create. (I'm sorry for my bad English as I'm not a native English speaker)

Thank you so much for this, i came to a better understanding of why I do these things. I used to love to draw but now I don't even draw at all bc I'm afraid of ruining it but I must make mistakes in order to improve. Thank you stranger i will carry those words with me

I have sooo much trouble blending skin tones and they turn out so bland with no depth at alllll :((((

I'm surprised at how most people aren't getting the point of the video. It says in the end, "what color is your skin? Why does that matter?" And in this video, she paints peoples with unnatural colors yet they appear realistic and quiet "normal". It's to show how the skin color doesn't actually matter in the end. This is at least what i got from this video. Loved her skills. She's amazing and so damn talented, her brush strokes just radiate confidence.

오랜만에 알고라즘에 고맙다...걍 시간 떼우기 영상이 아니라 찐 예술을 봤다.. 이걸 걍 지나가면서 볼 생각을 한 내가 한심하다 진짜;;

ㅋㅋㅋ미친 마지막에 팔레트 거울인 거 보고 소오름...난 이분 감성 너무 좋아 진짜 굿즈 만드시면 완판 쉽가능일듯... 전시회해주세요ㅜㅠ

마지막 색들을 다 섞어서 붉은빛이 되었어도 좋았을듯 해요. 피부색은 달라도 우린 다 붉은 피가 흐르는 인간이니까. 진짜 매번 실력에 연출에 놀라고 갑니다. 좋은 영상 감사해요~

진짜 어떤 색도 주저 없이 사용하시는 거 너무 멋있고 충격적이에요

한번에 선을 슥슥 긋는게 너무 신기하다 처음 선을 그을 때부터 이렇게 그려야겠다.하는 확실한 계획이 있는 것 같아서 너무 멋짐ㅠㅠ

우와 맞는 거 같아요. 저는 거울이 자기를 되돌아 보고 성찰하게 하는 게 아닐까 생각했어요. 교훈적인 모습을 보여주고 마지막에 거울이 나오는데 거울을 보여주면 그 속에 비추는 건 우리, 시청자잖아요? 그렇게 우리의 모습을 보고 나는 어떠한지에 대해 생각하게 하는? 그런 느낌을 받았네요 ㅎㅎ 추가적으로 나는 어떠한 모습을 띠고 있는가? 어디까지나 궁예질이지만요 ㅋㅋ

와 팔레트에 있는 색이 한데 섞이는 것도 그렇게 해석할 수 있군요! 전 팔레트가 거울인 거 보고 결국 껍데기일뿐인 피부색 말고 그 내면에 있는 진정한 자기 자신을 돌아보라는? 그런 의미로 받아들였어요.

헉 저 좋아요 이렇게 처음 받아보네요. ㅠ.ㅠ 하나 더 궁예질 해보면 중간 카메라 인식이 각각 되는 것도 하나하나 모두 같은 얼굴이다 를 표현하는 것 같았어요. 물감이 마지막엔 전부 섞여 하나의 색이 된 것도 우리는 다를 것 없고 섞여 살아갈 뿐이다 같아 보이더라구요. 카아민님 그림도 영상도 정말 재미있고 사랑해요...

That's actually very important tbvh .In order to make the art look more realistic. Blue,green,yellow and purple can be used as undertones in order to make the skin more "natural "like for example I have brown skin so for my undertones would be red,yellow and green and for Black skin they would have to use purple as the undertone.Hope that helps
