That is the California education code.

So did you cover how many electives they needed to have? Do languages and musical instruments qualify for that and how many units needed for that? Does California use 1 credit system or 10 credits for 1 year completed? Thank you very much for the info and your videos ❤

0 electives are needed and they don't use credits, they say courses. Remember, homeschoolers aren't tied to any of this.

So when we do transcripts do we use 1 credit for a subject a year or 10 credit. For each subject?

My son is a struggling learner and is currently in 8th grade. I don’t know if he will ever be able to complete Algebra 1, any thoughts?

You aren't actually bound by these requirements. But there are 2 year Algebra 1 programs. Take it slow and start now, you might be surprised.
