Lots so sad sometimes in life when always feel bad energy from the one that’s suppose to cherish you and care about you and all it looks like is murky water but you know when you rest your hope in Jesus and and the second coming of god or being human it helps and I don’t know this game of life but it feels like an end time life judgement day sometimes I feel like I’m dead and sometimes I know I’m only human

Every year I come back to listening to this version at this time of the year... Never get sick of it...

Don Francisco is one of my favorites Christian musicians. I saw him about half a dozen times baxk in the 80s and unlike other Christian singers pf the period all his concerts were free.

I heard only the first few seconds and called my family in to watch and listen. As the tears streamed down my face I listened to a song that always touches my heart by people who always touch my heart set in the countryside that always touches my heart. God loves us so much. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

This is the most beautiful "What child is this" guitar version I've ever heard! There are NO words to describe their talent with these instruments! It's so soothing and angelic, I'm blown away! I can literally listen to this every single day and never get tired of it! Thank you Don, Wendy, and Jerry! You guys are beyond amazing! 💖💖💖

Really moved me in a quiet spiritual way so non-traditional to noisy holiday distractions, loved the setting outdoors and of course the horses, just perfect in the moment and fine musicians.

I wish I was there. So beautiful and anointed worship to the King.

i happened to hear this accidentally while studying in a university in Nova Scotia, Canada during fall season in 2014 close to midnight and was transported to another realm , honestly i have not listened to this kind of playing and whenever i listen to this piece i would be surrounded by the cold weather of Canada, the stillness of night and this lovely playing amidst total silence here in India. I would play this as a background and play violin with it and it would be amazing to Hear. MAy Our Lord Jesus Christ Bless all of you who made it possible for us to hear this dedicated performance.

I love it! Really wonderful version.

This song, so exquisitely played here, always reminds me of the magical wetlands of the Willamette Valley. God works in mysterious ways, as they say. These were the beautiful memories of a childhood I otherwise would have been lost in. Thank you for the rendering which is like drinking of peace and God's infinite love.

There is something about this song that draws me to it, and this rendition is the most beautiful I've ever heard. As one guitar player to another, well played!

I can smell the pinion and spruce .I can imagine ristras hung and the cold of the evening that is only felt in southwest .thank you for such a lovely blessed tune .

A beautiful song. I remember that I played this song with my teacher and classmate when I was only 9 years old. I won't forget that day, that was a beautiful presentation. Now, 6 years later, I want to repeat that moment, I would play this song again with them.

First heard "He's Alive" from a friend while in college. I was starting to get skeptical, but this beautiful music from Don convinced me not to give up my faith, just the particular church I felt abused by when I was younger. I started going to a different church and everything got better, especially my faith in God.

@@poppylove3673 I was Lutheran and it wasn't being that which made me mad. The church-like many in the NCC--was getting too liberal and my mother joined me later in the church I found peace. My father died before he could transfer himself. I was more angry that I was treated like I was mentally retarded by a no.of the parish despite the fact that I was going to Dekalb college then. I had too many comment they thought teaching nursery " might be too hard for me" and "I've got a class you'll just be in love with. Kevin just loves it." I asked the pastor; he admitted it was a special ed. class for his nephew who had Down Syndrome. I asked if I could teach it since I was going to majour in it at NGC soon and had already been accepted. "We already have 1 teacher for 2 students." I asked who the other student was. "You.". Apparently, he didn't believe me or my parents. I soon left as there were h.s.students who jeered at me-and Kevin-and the parents were no better. I was soon close to feeling that my professors were right til I made friends in my classes and someone invited me to the Newman Family, the Catholic --org.off-- campus. Not all my friends were Catholic; some were BSU or Wesley. They introduced me to Don McLean and I met a guy who introduced me to an Anglican Protestant Church and then transferred to St.Barnabas in Dunwoody. It was a wonderful change for me. While I didn't get to graduate in teaching, I did get a BA in Art at GSU after my dad died. That was the happiest day God gave me- 6/13/87. He's Alive!

I could visualize Jesus rising and those around being so brought to the realization that everything He had told them was true!
