I once talked to a Rabbi about that "you shall not kill". Then it was about eating animals, I asked him how can any abrahamic religion kill animals from food when it is said "you shall not kill"?! He said it is a wrong translation, it is said "you shall not murder" and humans can only murder a other human being. Animals can be killed without placing a sin on oneself?! Now I heard some Israeli Minister called the Palestinians "animals", some other person said "to call Palestinian people animals is a insult for animals, they are less worth than animals"! So declaring a group of humans as animals or even less (reminds me of Nazis) allowes them to kill them without placing a sin on them! But, when you look at the DNA of the Palestinians and the Israel people it is both same and clearly to identify as humans. Just calling someone an animal does not change the fact that he/she is and will always be a human!

Islam is the culmination of every single messenger and prophet of God from Adam to Mohammad (peace be upon all of them) and the revelation given to some of them. The Quran is the last and final revelation which was preserver unlike the previous revealed texts which largely disappeared in time.
