Ya the 10,20k buying at shows is not realistic. $200 is what a lot of people will take

I picked up about $400 worth the goods for $90 at a small local show. Picked up a ton of dollar bin cards that sell consistently on ebay for $15-$20. I notice at shows 20% of the dealers are basically giving cards away. I throw out a number and they accept without even looking at them. You can tell they're cash poor right now. Reminds me of 1994 all over again but the interest is still higher and still a good crowd attended. Dollar boxes get more attention than anything in a showcase.

I usually have about a $200 budget and take $100-$200 in trade/sell bait. I try to sell or trade first before I spend. I'm a blue collar collector so it I bring something to unload, it doesn't fit the collection.

Those influencers are spending whatnots cash not their own.

I like finding the unopened product from years ago, specifically 99 FB. $200 can get you most of those unopened boxes, if not 2 or 3. I also like chasing regional stars that aren't popular in the show area, but popular in other areas I travel for work. For example, cheap Astros cards can be found in a lot of places due to the trash can scandal, or Greatest Show on Turf players anywhere outside of the Midwest / LA areas. Looks like you got an awesome haul... big fan of those SP and SN'd FB HOFers! Very AUsome!

I think you need to trademark the phrase “pre-rookie” and sell it to Bowman! Good overall pickups man! There’s always a good feeling when you do a cash AND trade deal and get cash back along with cards

Most average collectors do all of the above, buys to sell, buys to keep, and looks for the best deal possible for the least amount of money possible. Basic….

I typically spend at a show a max of $100. Last show I went to last week I spent $95 total and am killing it in sales. I have sold so far 10 cards for $138 that I paid $37 for
