I am originally from Armenia and my parents visited Almaty and some other cities of this great country back then when we both were under the USSR, and they said Kazakhstan was absolutely breathtaking

I hope other Turkic languages will follow 😊 In Azerbaijani, we usually say pul for money but axça is an archaic word and is cognate with the Kazakh one.

It would be great if you respected these people enough not to ask them to do more work, for free, on the off chance that you will use this transcript when you have used absolutely no Kazakh in your comment, not even рахмет, and it’s not clear whether you are actually learning Kazakh. It would be great if you lowered your sense of entitlement and used the materials they have already provided. It would really be great and I hope one day you will be able to understand that.

Can someone explain, is ж in the beginning of words pronounced like the English "j" or the French "j"? Может кто-то подсказать, пожалуйста, в начале слов Ж произносится как Ж или как ДЖ. Потому что в видео есть и так и так.

Standard pronunciation is like French J, but a lot of Kazakhs pronounce it like the English J, also in Kyrgyz it is like English J.
