What Calculator Should You Use For The SAT?!
In this video, I go over the 3 calculator types and which one I recommend you choose for your SAT Test! Many high school juniors and seniors are spending summer and this school year to prepare for the SAT and begin their college admissions process. 🎓📝

For the scientific, I would recommend the TI36 X-Pro. $22, Walmart. Graphing, TI-84 Plus CE, about $150. Also, the new digital SAT has a Desmos calculator on the platform.

i have both a scientific and graphing calculator and i was for sure going to bring the graphing one but like you said, i don’t really know how to use it and i will waste time trying to frighten that out so will for sure be bringing the scientific calculator!

Can I use (fx-991 cw) for Digital SAT?
May I ask does the graphic solve equations for us?

Definitely no! It can simplify expressions with ONLY numerical values. but if there are any variables then definitely not and you will need to know that math skill 👍
I have a SAT test in 8 hours, am I allowed to use the Casio fx-991ES PLUS ?

A graphing calculator would probably be best, just in case you take any advanced-level classes. But if you do not plan to, then a scientific calculator is all you need! 😀👍

You can still bring your own calculator if you want to! They will provide an on-screen calculator but I still recommend bringing your own calculator that you are comfortable with!

I say if you already have a graphing calculator there is no need to get a new fancy one. But it depends. Which one do you already have?

@@aena5995 Hey! Thanks for the comment! No calculator will ever factor an equation for you. You need to learn to factor on your own. The calculators you currently have are great scientific calculators and I think you should continue to use them. Focus on actually learning the math material than choosing a different calculator and you will do great! 😄👍

That is an older model of the CASIO so it is no longer listed on the SAT list, so no. I would recommend getting a new one. Thanks for watching!
