2 cups flour, 3 Tablespoons Cornstarch, 2 teaspoons Baking Powder, 1/2 teaspoons Baking Soda, 1 teaspoon Salt, 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder, 1 Stick Butter cut in cubes, 1 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese, 1 Cup Buttermilk. Mix,drop,bake 400° 20 min.

Red Lobster brought down Red Lobster.

They changed the menu so greatly , wasn't even interested in it anymore.

Brought my mom there for Mother’s Day. Ordered a lobster tail and her didn’t even have a lobster tail in it… That was a year ago, can’t say I’m surprised because after that, I wasn’t going back.

My family quit going when the resturant would be only 1/4 full and but still have to wait for 25 minutes (no staffing and this was pre pandemic)..That was tough to do with 2 little ones. I think they want you to sit at the bar/drink etc. not family friendly for us. We found better values and better food options. Unfortunately this is no surprise.

Went to Red Lobster for a friend's birthday gathering in early 2019, there was 20 people in our group and we all left unsatisfied due to the dismal food.

Ok, well to each their own but I was watching this story on Inside Edition and these young people eating 30, 40 even 60 shrimp and posting it on social media.. No wonder there's so much illnesses in this world but ok. Anyways, that's why this restaurant went under.

A Private equity firm took over Red Lobster. When a private equity firm buys your employer, be smart and start looking for a job. Don't waste time. Even if the company you work for survives and your job continues to exist, you will be treated like an indentured servant, like a cog in a wheel. It will be like working for Big Brother.

$20 ALL YOU CAN EAT SHRIMP IS NOT THE REASON There's a lot of $15-$20 Buffets out there but they're still in Business

They closing too. The Homestyle Buffet and Souplantation by my house closed for the "2-weeks to Slow the Spread" and never reopened. A Sizzler has closed also

It’s private equity make no mistake about it. It’s a monopoly on the market system. It appears to me that someone played the derivative derivative game. Just like they have with game stop. Go and look for yourself. They were owned by private equity same with the $.99 stores

I went there with my family once and it took them 1-2 hours for us to wait for our food. Since it was a school night we had to cancel our order and leave. Worst Service Ever at Red lobster.

Alex, if you believe that Red Lobster is the best restaurant ever, you should try Long John Silver's for a real upgrade. Same quality of food for a whole lot less money, and no 2 hour waits when the restaurant is half full.

All you can eat shrimp is a BS excuse.....There is a buffet near me that has all you can eat shrimp, sushi, salmon, and crab on the weekends. under 20 bucks on the weekdays 22 on the weekend....BS red lobster lost because of the shrimp deal..

Well they had, a pretty good run, we will miss ya . I Loved the clam chowder and busicus🫶🏾😘

They're not necessarily going down to business just cut their filing for bankruptcy what they're doing is preparing the structure of the company to be easier to sell off. If that falls for dinner will probably go out of business.

Close all fast food too, not care, never go.

Customers eat like field hands, hang a jacket on a chair, leave, come back and eat like field hands.

lonnie would eat as much shrimp as he could, then vomit , then start eating shrimp all over again. As Lonnie said: its worth 20 bucks to do that.

I agree with the All You Can Eat Shrimp eating into company profits. I worked for the company off and on for 5 years and the Restaurant didn't make much money even though it was packed for that promotion. And it was a pain in the neck for the servers, got to work extra hard for the same pay/tip with all those refills. I never under stood why they had different specials each month. LobsterFest is by far their biggest and more Profitable promotion and they ONLY had it once a year. Most companies run their most profitable product/promotion year round. BTW Red Lobster been struggling for decades, long before the P---demic

Red lobster owned the land each location was on. And then a hedge fund manager took over-- forced red lobster to sell the land each location was on...then the Hedge fund charged Red Lobster rent. Making the rent so expensive the locations could not afford the land lease.....Let be honest it had nothing to do with the all you can eat. Follow the money trail....

You mean besides their overpriced seafood that's on par quality-wise with the McDonald's Filet-O-Fish? The restaurant management and employee talent pool has been severely wanting for years, so the result was inevitable.

there's a restaurant in Glendale, called crab avenue. its a pre covid restaurant, survived covid and it's still making bank. this is not a national problem, this is a international multinational you problem, red lobster. down by crab avenue, you can get everything and anything at an affordable price, and theyre not stingy with their servings like red lobster. plus they actual have different flavors, not just butter. I swear, red lobster is the only restaurant that comes second to olive garden with its overuse of butter. gives me acid reflex just typing it out.
