NOW: people recognize him, speak Korean words, Korean restaurants in London literally opened up because of him, he's met with all the A-List celebrities you can imagine, and both the UK and Korean governments have honored him. I'm just happy to be living in his time and having been subscribed to him since 2013.

i’ve been watching this channel for about 6-7 years, when the older clips started to pop up i got a bit emotional. koreanenglishman and jolly are two of my favorite channels because it filled my world with the knowledge of culture. i will forever be grateful for everyone within the channel!

@@speakupyt4900 10년전에는 방탄도 없었고 한국의 문화 파워가 지금 같지도 않았습니다. 한류를 이용하긴요. 오히려 당시에는 조쉬가 한류를 알리는 데 좋은 공헌을 했는데요. 주식으로 치자면 별 볼일 없이 잠재력만 좀 있던 나라에게 투자하고 컨텐츠를 만든건데 당연히 그 만한 부를 창출해야 도리에 맞죠.

I found your channel in 2018 a few months after I moved to Daegu, Korea. I'm from the US and it was my first time living abroad. I was pretty overwhelmed with culture stock and stress from my new job. Your videos not only were a major stress relief but also got me so excited to go out and try the same things you were making videos about. I ended up living there for four years and watching your videos now makes me feel so nostalgic. Thanks guys and happy 10 year anniversary!

I found your channel because of a longing to reconnect with the Korean cultural experiences of my childhood and the memories I tied to Korean food. Years later, I remain an avid watcher - for the food, of course, but mainly for the beauty of intercultural exchange and the candid human interactions that you capture. The ache to go back to Korea hasn't gone away, nor should it, but my heart is so full. I shed a few tears during the 10-year montage and behind-the-scenes commentary; it is such a wonderful full-circle moment, both for you as individuals and for the loyal fanbase you have created. I have followed your KZread journey long enough to know that it has not always been easy to stick to this world of content creation. I would have also assumed many more Brits would have been nowdays. But I can guarantee many more ppl where I live in the sticks of the southern US haven't but that's to be expected! Tbh, I haven’t been follow this channel (or JOLLY) as closely as I used to be, but I’m still immensely proud of the fact that I watched your first episode in real time. “10 years can change the landscape,” the Korean proverb goes, but nothing happens automatically either. The time and effort you guys put in this channels shows, and I’m happy you’re still eager to do more. Here’s to another ten years! TMI: I lived in the UK before the 88 olympics, and literally NO ONE knew about Korea then. An old man even asked my father if it used to be a colony of England! 10년이 지났다고 모든 사람이 반드시 한국을 아는 것은 아니죠. 아무리 영국을 잘 안다는 우리야말로 영국에 대해 완전히 다 아는 게 아닌 것처럼요. 이 영상은 그런 의미에서 정말 많은 교훈과 의미가 담겼습니다. 영국남자가 이번 영상을 토대로 다시 초심을 찾아 더욱 알차고 질 높은 한국과 영국 문화 교류 영상을 만들어주셨으면 좋겠습니다. Not every British people know about Korea even it's been a decade. Like we Korean do not know everything about Britain even we know your country over decades. 글쎄요.. 제가 유럽에서도 거주했었고 중동, 아시아, 북미 등 출장을 많이 다녀서 그런진 모르겠지만 올림픽, 월드겁까지 치르고 삼성, 현대가 있는 세계 경제 10위 언저리에 위치한 한국 혹은 한국의 대표적인 음식을 모른다는건 그냥 무식하다라는 생각밖엔 안드는데요ㅎ 아님 문화 사대주의인가ㅎ

Dang... Has it been 10 years already... I've found you guys when you had 4 or 5 videos. One of my favorite was a day in London, where just some friends enjoying their youth together. Idk, the friendship and the youth was so beautiful that it literally impressed on my brain. It's amazing how you guys grew, and how I also grew as a person. I hope to see y'all for a very long time!

people here tend to be closed-minded including myself. But I ended up watching running man during the pandemic, this got me into dramas and K-pop. Then of course the food…. This year I actually saw Twice in concert and visited SKorea. Let’s all be open to different cultures. The world is huge.

Congratulations on achieving 10 years. I love your channel and watch it regularly as a subscriber. My engagement in all things Korean started with K-dramas which I still love, I then discovered BTS and became ARMY. Between the two, my interest in k-food really developed. I then found your channel which helped expand it, as did another channel, Aaron and Claire, which has helped introduce me to cooking Korean recipes and I now have online accounts with online supermarkets with Korean stuff. Your channel ensures I keep adding stuff to my shopping list as well making excursions into London for stuff that doesn’t travel well online delivery services. So congratulations on your achievements . I am proof that from little seeds great obsessions can develop😂. Now if you could get an egg drop franchise going in London …….
