Seems like it from what I've read and heard.

My biggest disappointment in the big more revolver world is Ruger 480. That seemed like a perfect compromise between performance and shootability. The 480 wasn’t around long enough for reloaders to build up some stout grizzly rounds. The 480 would have been great. Such a shame.

Yes, I couldn’t agree with you more… I still want one someday… I was a kid when it first came out but for at least one summer I remember seeing it and reading about it and the 450 marlin in every gun magazine I could get my hands on.

I agree. I have the Super redhawk .480. I cannot find ammo anywhere. 😢

Use a regular old pipe cutter. It works better than those mini chopsaw for me at least

Nope. I went with a .500" 440-gr bullet running 1350+ out of a 5.5" barrel.

Now that you have the chop saw, would it be possible to make up some really heavy weight 41 magnum rounds by trimming tge casees and loading something like 300+ grain 405 winchester bullets?
