    How do you put warning labels inside individual/single tart melts? First off them squares are pretty small to begin with to darn small sometimes to add a label on top of so how do you add a warning labels to'em?

    try BW-921. Its a soy blend that has no frosting and great scent throw.

    It’s very subjective! I would say you would want at least 4-5 different scents and have 8-10 made for each scent. That’s on the lower end but a good starting point and then you can add more scents from there!

    Daft question how do you measure the wax. For the melts. Do u melt an let it set. In the melt to get the weight then re melt to add the fragrance ?

    Hi do you have any other suggestions for tart wax because none of the sites you proposed ships to Canada and i just cannot find wax made for tarts on the websites I know . either i dont know what to look for or they dont specify if its meant for tarts, thanks

    Yes and no. I don’t wait to cure them before listing them on Etsy, but the time it takes to sell them is enough cure time :)

    I list them the next day usually after I make them! But they usually take about a week+ to sell. But even if they did sell a couple days later it would still be okay :)

    Just wonderful, I been tryin to find out about "wholesale candle containers with lids" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of - Panlijah Inconceivable Position - (just google it ) ? It is a great one of a kind guide for discovering how to become a candle making master and turn a profit minus the hard work. Ive heard some interesting things about it and my mate got cool results with it.

    Hey Erica, I ❤️ your videos!! Question for you: when you make wax tarts to give as samples. Do you recycle your clamshells after you have taken out the cubes? Or do you just use new ones? When I try to take out my cubes, my clamshell is a bit dented. But also don’t want to keep using new clamshells if I am giving them away as samples. Thank you!

    I am using IG 6006 from candle science. It sticks a little when I crack them and try to pull them out. They don’t “fall out” if I turn it over.

    Hmm maybe that wax just likes to stick more in the tart molds. Are you able to push the plastic back to normal or does it cause the next melts to look funky when you try to reuse the mold?

    I let them cure at least 3-5 days, but every wax is different!

    I’m not sure! I’ve never had experience with palm wax. I would refer to the directions/website where you purchased the wax from, they should provide you with the FO % load range ☺️

    Hi Erica! Love your videos! So I live in Miami and it’s always been a dream of mine to start my own candle company. The problem is there are ZERO candle supply companies in my area. I’ve looked into just having wax shipped to me but the shipping is ridiculously expensive. Do you have any suggestions on what I can do? Thanks!

    Hi! That can be really tough. I really recommend doing a couple of things: Do tons and tons of research, and do a test order on 10+ candle suppliers to see who has the cheapest shipping to your zip code. You can also go in the Facebook group “DIY candle making beginner to advanced” and search that group to see if anyone from Florida says where they get their wax from :)

    Hi! Frosting is a natural process of soy, so frosting is pretty common. However I would 100% recommend switching to a metal pitcher specifically for candle making, I wouldn’t use plastic! ❤️

    Memory Box Candle Co if you get frosting on your wax melts do you think there suitable to sell? I personally don’t like frosting on my wax melts, and find it annoying.     If it’s just minor frosting, I sell it. If it’s a lot I’ll remelt just enough to melt all of the wax and pour cooler. Trial and error though! All wax is different :)

    You’ll have to look at the suppliers directions for the wax you’re using to see the fragrance load and how much it can hold :) Also there is no right or wrong answer with dye, you just have to experiment and see how much dye you like using with the amount of wax you’re working with

    Have you experienced frosting with this wax? If so how do you fix it? Maybe I got a bad batch from cal candle. Wanted to like this wax but it makes my tarts look horrible.

    Memory Box Candle Co I heat to 195-200, add FO at 180-185. I have done with and without dye. If I use dye I add in during melting process. But even without the dye I’ve had horrible frosting 😟

    @@lailasdiysalon7963 hmm I haven’t experience frosting ever since I stopped using dye. I heat my presto pot to 185, then I add in my fragrance oil to the pitcher before pouring in the wax, then I add the wax in at 185, stir and pour and I haven’t had any issues ❤️
