The good news is, you can heal off the spore. The bad news is, 6 shotgun bullets to the mag, and ammo is absurdly scarce it's not even funny. The only way I made it work was taking it slow and abusing the infinite ammo glitch on the SPNKr. I did as many skips and despawns as I could, and that barely got me over the finish line.

@@unreal727 It works for any weapon that has a reload animation in CE. Just empty the weapon, and when the reload animation begins immediately switch it with a weapon lying on the ground. You will hear the reload sounds, and see some of the reload animations on some weapons while it's on the ground. Once the reload is done, you pick it up and the magazine will be full, but the weapon capacity will be unchanged. In LASO it's very effective with the rocket launcher because it becomes a single shot, fire it and immediately switch it with a weapon on the ground, wait a couple seconds then pick it up and fire it again and repeat, it essentially has infinite ammo so long as you wait the correct amount of time and have at least 2 rounds in reserve to begin with.

Nah mate, thats just your skill issue. Rockets flood are not as bad as they are said to be. I am more worried about red and black elites. But that probably just has to do with my general preference of human weapons. When it comes to the flood I would be more worried about those with shotguns. They have the same OP weapon as you and if you are low on ammo then you have to fight them.

​@miniaturejayhawk8702 the only hard part in the library is where you have to fight hordes of flood in a area where there is no exit. It's that part where you have to wait for guilty spark to open the door. Having a full ammo rocket launcher with grandes is a must.

​@miniaturejayhawk8702 I agree wholeheartedly on the Shotgun Flood being worse. There's usually more of them compared to the RL Flood, it's harder to tell an SG Flood from an RL Flood, and the shots aren't telegraphed as well compared to the RL Flood.

For me hardest to do LASO solo (which I already did) 1. Gravemind 2. Cairo Station 3. The covenant (h3) 4. Two Betrayals (h CE) 5. Coastal Highway (ODST) The other ones are a little challenging but these are the absolute hardest to do and take hours, if not days, to complete

Midnight laso isn’t talked about much but holy shit was that a pain, there’s almost no cover in anything so you’re often sat crouched behind a small ramp before getting railed by a knight who teleported behind you

I would disagree the only part of Midnight that’s hard is the longsword part on Co-op and that’s it everything else is easy

I remember playing midnight on LASO and how infuriating it was

"Midnight halo 4 is just stupid" is a sentence that works in any context tbh

Truth and rec.. was a nightmare with a buddy of mine on LASO we actually completed LASO and got the achievement for halo combat evolved. But our death count on library was over 300 by the time we finished that level

To me truth and reconciliation was the hardest. I spent 4 days in the elevator room until i was able to rng my way past the gold elites. I didn't really get stuck on any of the other laso encounters.

Coastal highway was annoying but im stuck between that or data hive for hardest in SLASO. So many times did i have redo that big room with the drones. Took me 4 hours 27 minutes everything was okay in that level except that big room, then i learned you can jump to the bottom and be somewhat ok. Was done on the 360 edition.

when I was 8 this was a piece of cake. now it's kinda hard

"Midnight is just stupid" Truer words have never been spoken. When I tried it on heroic I had to ragequit and left the game for at least a year. However whats funny is that when I came back it was obviously still difficult but somehow it was easier on legendary. Similar story for two betrayals although I didnt ragequit then.

I loved that halo 2 level, it was glorious

T&R on Halo one was by far the hardest for me so far. After beating Halo 1 I moved onto Halo 2 and am currently stuck at the beginning of Gravemind. I had made it to the prison skip at one point but my checkpoint was somehow lost after coming back to it months later.

Still my most hated level was in Halo CE The Library, my gad I hate that level with a passion. Playing it again on the MCC just reignited my hate for that level.

even though on halo 4 that one spot where you only need to fight 2 hunters. they are still a pain in my ass do to the fact that they charge like rhinos if you’re on the ground and then they shoot you if you’re in the air. quite difficult for the veteran mode player 😂

On the mission shutdown. I somehow manage to despawn the hunters unintentionally on my first try. Then I died because of bunch of vultures. Then I just ran past them because I didn't want to deal with their bs

I played this with easy difficulty and completed this map.

Elevator room in Truth and Reconcilation took me 3-4 hours, so much RNG hoping the zealots wouldn't spawn in the doors you're supposed to enter and hoping the grunt funeral chain reactions would kill them. Regret just took a lot of patience, planning and preparing with blocking the entrances for the honor guards with those pillar things. Gravemind on LASO by far was the most difficult took me 6 hours lol, I had to practice on easy with all skulls on just to correctly do the prison skip section. Thank god for halo completionist btw.

The cortana mission on LASO had raging my ass off.

I feel like cortana is way overstated. All flood missions on halo 3 are the easiest especially cortana just because the game is pretty generous with its equipment. Especially towards the end section only part I had trouble in slaso was that one panel in the hallway since cowbell physics

Dude halo reach laso elites can tank like 50 headshots for them to lose their shield alone

He said Truth and Reconciliation and I immediatly went back to when my brother and I beat it and it took us almost 12 hours to do so.

CE level with the flood when your trying to rescue Keyes is almost impossible for me even on the easiesy difficulty. And idk why because ive beaten every single halo besides 5

Even when I did a hack run after playing laso Gravemind still took me around 4 to 5 hours with the buggy God mode and the amount of times I went to fast with the speed mod I had and would glitch through the floor or through a kill barrier

You really have to adapt and think outside of the box in Gravemind. The way I did it on my first time, which was a few day ago, was to quickly jump (between waves, of course) on the higher platform near the wall where Carbine Brutes spawn at some point and just rain down hell on any inhuman son of a bitch that spawned.

Library was tough

The two hardest LASO levels IMO are The Library from CE and Gravemind from Halo 2. The reason is because those levels are sooooooo long!

It's my most favorite mission

Pillar of autumn from reach is definitely not top five but still up there in difficulty

The hardest halo mission is arcadia city in halo wars

Once you get last the first room, gravemind isn't any worse than other levels it just takes a while. Cortana and Coastal Highway aren't that bad either unless you are doing them solo or with 2 people. And Midnight you can skip most of the level

Beating halo 2 in on legendary was by far the hardest but if you've beat halo 2 on legendary, all other halos are a cake walk. Besides that stupid space level on halo reach. Whoever designed that level and thought to not add checkpoints on legendary needs to get their brains checked. It's checkpoints galore up until you reach that level then you're just screwed.

My dad and I are doing all halo games on legendary we just finished ce and have started doing 2 and we can’t even get beat the 1st mission.

That depends on the difficulty

I would cheat by going to multi-player. Take some tape and make it to be exact with where my aim will be and play laso at least knowing where the gun was aiming and make a tiny spot knowing where the sniper aim will be at. Then jump to playing laso campaign

Wait. An Odst level is hard because you must protect Dare? I thought her truck was indestructible. The only other time I've seen a Halo game tether you to a killable fail state was when Rescuing Captain Keys.

I dunno, Lone Wolf in Halo Reach is super hard. Can't think of anyone who didn't die in that level.

Hardest laso level ever by far is "truth and reconciliation" there is really no debate. Don't get me wrong i've done all the halos on laso and i've done Gravemind. I would say Gravemind and Regret are almost tied for difficulty. But in terms of just ridiculous modifiers , especially for a game like halo one that didn't have them before, almost feels like they didn't even play test it. halo one in my opinion, by far, has one of the worst missions ever made for laso. The skulls and that room where you have to fight like 5 waves of enemies and you can only use the sniper and the assault rifle the entire game. Really was a test of my patience. The fact that every shot is worth twice the ammo and it takes 3 Sniper shots to the head to take down a golden elite is just Ridiculous.

Beat Reach, 4 and 5 solo legendary. It wasn't too easy, but it ain't that hard either if you try.

What does rng stand for?

I truly believe Cortana is the hardest level in all of halo. You can’t use explosive rounds, but in specific places in the map, unless you want all the infection forms running at you at once, there’s like 1% of the normal number of grenades in a normal map to pick up, the pure forms hosing you down from a mile away while the elite forms with their bs shields are attacking you. It’s such bs

I never understood why people say it's the hardest it's the easiest your given the best weapons 2 flamthrows 2 gravity hammers and a bunch of energy swords and the amount of special equipment like invisibility is unreal I believe there is also an invincibility somewhere as well. During my legendary playthrough on average most levels would take me 2-3 hours to complete. All flood levels took me less that 50 minutes. Floodgate was 15 minutes.
