Hi Dylane... Thnx again for a wonderful video... Could you pls explain the difference between rejoindre and se joindre? As rejoindre is also used to return and join a person or a group and se joindre is also joining a person or group and both are one way only.. Hope I am able to explain my query..

Dylane, a 'Perfect French' lesson as usual! Thank you! 🙂 A question please, if one were writing instead of speaking in the 3rd person singular, how would the sentence change? Let's say, Nous etions en retard donc nous avons décidé de ... (se rejoindre ?) directement au magasin. Now, the subject would be Nous, or We, in the first person plural. Would we then write 'nous rejoindre" as in the pevious example? Thank you so much! -Dan 🙂

  • @TheperfectfrenchwithDylane

Great question Dan! If the reflexive verb is infinitive, but the subject is NOUS, then the reflexive pronoun changes to nous as well. Same for VOUS and all the other subject pronouns :)
