The reason people would do cocaine and not PEDS is because if you get caught using Coke and still won people think jeez imagine how good he would be if he didn’t do this. I used to like Ryan Garcia. Still do, but used to as well.

I had a buddy, who took thyroid medication and abused it. He pretty much was losing his mind on it. But talk about something that works similar to cocaine when taking enough. I wouldn't doubt thyroid powder isn't something that rampant. It's a medication legally given to race horses to make them go fast.

My understanding was legitimate steroids are illegal in the United States for recreational use without a doctor.

To be fair, ostarine is a contaminant in some supps. And it doesn't make sense to take ostarine the day before the fight, (he didn't pop a few weeks before, he popped a day before) Ostarine doesn't work like a preworkout, it provides muscle growth and bone density over a period of a few months or so.

Drug testing and the repercussions for a failed test (if any at all), in boxing are a complete joke!! Canelo Alvarez, Oscar Valdez, Tyson Fury, Roy Jones Jr, Lamont Peterson all popped for PED’s

Did he even fail for a "ped" or was it ashwagandha, which they put in all kinds of foods, drinks, and supplements?

You need to clarify when you say steroids are legal. Technically they are illegal in the USA. Most celebrities and athletes have access to Drs that will prescribe them though. I was going to a clinic that would prescribe 250 test and 200 Deca along with peptides and HGH but it’s insanely expensive for a normal person.places like titan medical will prescribe lots of stuff if you want to pay for it and legally send it from their compound pharmacy.

I’ve taken ostarine, it’s not strong at all. Definitely won’t make a big difference in the fight

how are we supposed to believe that he really took them, when it was obvious during the fight (Refs and judges) -- that larger forces were against him? Ryans promotional team(GoldenBoy) were the main promoters for the fight. Meaning they have the most influence in selecting the judges and refs. Tbh I’ve never seen or heard of a fighter test positive for PEDs and it ends up being revealed that it was a setup.

It makes no sense for the boxing establishment to be against Ryan lol. Ryan wasn’t even that massive of an underdog lol, he was only +500, bigger upsets have happened. 112-112 scorecard was the only thing fishy about the fight- but I can see how they got there considering that Haney won the majority of the rounds and the point deduction. The referee didn’t have his best night and imo the fight should’ve been stopped in the 7th round, but from his angle he may not have been able to tell if those were slips or legit knockdowns.

You're coming up with an intellectual and seemingly logical explanation for what we all know was shady. Like I said, boxing has never been clean and is an extremely corrupt sport. If we were talking about something that had a reputable history, I would see more of your argument. Saying it doesn't make sense for the boxing establishment to be against ryan...when clearly that is the case..oh well agree to disagree. Not to mention, with the onset of mass betting in the US now, there is big money in very unique and random directions going into all sports. We see it in other fighting promotions like the UFC when paddy pimblett was awarded a victory he didn't get which was very obviously to keep the big betters happy that day. So let me get this straight . A guy who ADMITTEDLY spoke about taking alcohol and smoking during camp, is being defended over his ability to “not be that stupid”. ?.
