Coal should be totally replaced by nuclear. People are stupid who says it will impact environment. If all safety measures are adopted then there are no chance of accident. In past we were poor-funds-crunch country and had access to limited technology. Now other most of the western and eastern countries bid to do business in India. Ans yes, stay away from Chinese companies.

That is a good point that in theory coal should definitely be replaceable by nuclear, if proper safety measures are adopted and proper regulatory oversight is assured. But considering our history and current trends I would say that is a very big "if". Do excuse the what-aboutery since this is an example from another domain, but there is an apt remark in this context : "If India cannot manage it's urban solid waste properly, with reference to work hazards, resulting in frequent deaths of sanitation workers; how can we be so assured that nuclear waste will be handled properly and the lower level staff are properly protected?"

We generating power using renewable at very less , say max 10 to 20 percent of total requirement by using solar , wind , bio , s. hydro etc . We also planing to produce green hydrogen using renewable power . Till 500 GW no problems will come , if we wisely use .

Author Alex Epstein is the best expert on this issue. He has also recently written a book on this topic. You should do an interview with him.
