Which is higher or lower? Help us understand °c and the negative temperatures too especially for hot countries like nigeria

I thank you immensely for this video because you clearly put me at ease with the proper temps for refrig and freezer. I kept thinking -8F was too high for my freezer. You calmed my nerves!

My Samsung french door refrigerator/ freezer with middle drawer has started icing up in the freezer. I try to adjust the temp- is super easy for the drawer, just pick a temp range- but the freezer is not easy. Display gives me 2 options: double snowflake OR -1. It ices up with either choice. Ive been leaving the freezer door open at night so the frosty ice can melt.

Hi Don, Just purchase a Samsung Bespoke French Door with Beverage Center in June 2023....absolutely love it...however having a problem with my ice maker compartme t has lots of frost and also tons of frost on back of ice maker??? I set temperature according to manual...37 degrees Fahrenheit for fridge and 0 degrees for freezer????? Is that too high for freezer??

Mine is doing that too! My freezer only gives 2 settings: -1 & a double snowflake, like what the heck do those even equate to?!

Hello! Your fridge temperatures should be displayed on the bottom right inside of the door, or they will be displayed on the front top section on the inside. What model LG do you have?

You should be able to set the temperature with the buttons in the middle. Do you know the model # of your fridge?

What to do if your fridge temperature won’t goes down and stays at 61 F ??? Even I switched it to 35 it went back to 61

We'd recommend calling a local service technician. Or if your fridge is still within the warranty, you can contact the brand and they should be able to set you up with a technician in your area.

It should be at 0 degrees farenheit to keep it frozen.

Right, no way to change to celsius, so I'm in Canada how did this junk wind up here without being able to change to what 98% of the world uses in temp.

Why 38 degrees? Why is that optimal?

Bacteria will grow in anything over that. You also don't want to freeze your foods, since some won't keep well at colder temperatures. For example cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce, do not keep well at lower/freezing temperatures.

If you need to switch it to farenheit, press and hold the fridge & freezer buttons at the same time for about 5 seconds and it should switch!

Does anybody really think those temperatures are going to be exactly like he was describing? With all the opening and closing from a normal family, you’re just wasting money on all those ridiculous bells and whistles. That’ll all be broken in about a 13 months after the warranty is up. And guess who gets paid to fix it?

These are just recommended settings to help your food lasts longer. There's areas like the drawers that help keep the cool air trapped, and block warm air out. Of course, if you are constantly opening and closing the fridge the temperatures will vary either way. This is the case with any type of fridge you have.

I agree. Growing up, my parents didn't have any fridge or freezer issues in 20 years. Now there are all kinds of issues.

It’s almost as silly as the left and right heat and air conditioning settings in an automobile twice the cost To install and twice the cost to repair. Think about it folks you’re sitting 6 to 8 inches apart and are you really going to have a different temperature? and what happens when somebody opens a window which is almost all of the time? Sometimes you can really overthink things. Can you say COVID-19 ? P.S. I still have a few hundred pairs of gloves and masks left, which I will be donating to the hospital.

If a drawer is closed to a different part of the fridge, that area will be a different temperature since the air stays within the drawer instead of circulating around the interior. Models like this can regulate temperatures in certain areas for specific items.

Why can’t people make videos of the problems ask, not the other junk that don’t pertain to what I need, all I ask was w(at temperature do I set my Samsung freezer and refrigerator too, really, that’s why people want watch you’ll videos because of all the BS that goes on …
