When he showed the picture of the lollipop and then said the lead compound I freaked out because I thought they actually (used to?) put lead in sweets lol.
Me, four years later, still finding use in the video. ":)"

"Calcium chloride" (at 4:17) not calcium chlorine. Also, you use the word "equals" for the reaction equation arrow, but I think "produces" or "makes" is more suitable
Thanks so much, this has helped with my end of term test for the end of the term!

Which one is the stronger acid Hcl or H2SO4???
@fuseschool
3 жыл бұрын
The stronger an acid is, the more easily it loses a proton, H+. And so HCl is a stronger acid than H2SO4 because a proton more easily separates from chloride ion than from hydrogen sulphate ion.

Is lead oxide a salt?
@fuseschool
3 жыл бұрын
Lead (II) Oxide is an inorganic compound which is amphoteric, which means that it reacts with both acids and with bases. With acids, it forms salts of Pb2+, and with strong bases PbO dissolves to form plumbite (also called plumbate(II)) salts.
how do they know it is sweet if its poisnous lol.

Not appropriate for someone who starts in chemistry and jests wants to know what salt means. My suggestion would be to start and explain the word with no technical words and then move on to the rest
