France, specially Paris, is one of the few places I can express my style through the way I dress and perfectly fit in. Here in the states everywhere I look I see yoga pants and skimpy destroyed Jean shorts. I have always loved the European style of dressing, Italian and French above all…effortless, no heavy makeup, fashionable without breaking the bank.

It depends on what you mean by heavy makeup. Some people think that just because someone wears eye shadow, they are wearing heavy makeup. However, contour, highlighter, and foundation is always used to the extreme in America. I never mess around with that. A well done and sexy smokey eye or deep red lip is elegant, beautiful, and timeless. You will find many European women who rock that look and stand out without even trying to do so.

I live in Manhattan, and while you do encounter some souls who have a sartorial sense, most people presently dress with nothing but comfort in mind. Which means they dress like bums. The general level of public dressing in NYC has declined precipitously from what was acceptable decades ago. It takes a lot of struggling to accept that this city is a fashion center these days.

Nice video, like a bunch of different flowers..always interesting to see what is next....

It is so nice to see people dressed in style and actually wearing fashion...here in Australia style and fashion are dead...everyone walks around in ill fitted black tights or tracksuits..leisure wear in dreary colours...looking very dishevelled....it is a very depressing situation for retail too because no one is buying the fashion...and if you try to dress up and look put together you feel very out of place....I wish I was in Europe where people have true style...
