So cool to follow your golf journey & progress 💯 You are so very much relatable! Keep up the good work and good vibes 💗
There is something so satisfying about watching a fitting .. maybe since I'm living vicariously since I know I need to do it!!
Great to see your golf journey from the first rick sheils video to now! Awesome. Don't put your self down, Your swing is awesome! Great work. 👍
I've also struggled with hitting my long irons further than my shorter ones (e.g., my 4, 5, and 6 irons used to carry about the same distance), even when I felt like I had good contact. What I learned was that I was not compressing the ball enough at impact, I was merely picking it clean, which hurts yardages in pretty much all clubs (but especially the longer ones). A friend of mine told me that, generally, the longer (in good taste) you keep your left arm straight throughout the swing, the more compression you'll get. Once I started keeping my left arm straight throughout more of my swing (with practice of course, it took some swings to get used to) I noticed a pretty dramatic change in my ability to hit my longer clubs, especially my 3W, 4I, and 5I. Regardless, I do enjoy your content and watching you progress, so carry on!
Mia has come such a long way her swing is amazing
This has made me think so much about getting a fitting..great content Mia and your getting better all the time.
Good job, Mia! You are definitely keeping your spine angle throughout the swing much better!
Nice too watch Mia, I hope your next game on the course goes well for you and we get too see some of it on here 😊
Nice work Mia. great to see the in depth video. Really enjoyed this. 👌
Always bringing great content. And always learning from you! I had no idea gapping sessions were a thing!
Really interesting Mia, content keeps getting better and better, 🙏🏻 thank you
Wow! Your swing is really improving! Can't wait to see your progression.
Quite relatable! Mia's a better golfer than me, but I enjoy seeing her going through the same pain points as me. I was also a bit disappointed when I tried to calculate my carry distances, and I'm currently learning a draw swing! However I can't imagine trying to hit decent shots whilst being filmed and watched by a pro fitter, so good on you!
Swing looking good! Very cool that you got those distanced gapped and dialed! 🔥 🔥 🔥
Such a great fundamental swing for someone who started golf as an adult. Amazing!
That was so fun to watch!
Lovely effortless swing for such a new golfer. Keep it up you are amazing.
Wow. This is just what I need. I've now subscribed and will look out for one in my local area. Thanks Mia
Mia dear, I have seen many golf videos, this is the best. and let me say a word here, you are absolutely brilliant 👏🌹
Take this as a compliment, you really look like a golfer, you've a nice swing, just get your confidence up,try to be less self-critical. It's great to see someone improving as much as you continue to do.
Such a smooth swing
Your swing is looking incredible.
Grear insight on what happens with knowing yiur yardages. 👏
So impressed with the consistency, Mia! My biggest struggle as a beginner.

Very educational! Great technician with excellent communication skills. And, you looked absolutely beautiful in this video.
I have all my distances for all my club. So when I have 125 yards to the green I always check my notebook to what club goes that far. Every shot. Has save me so many strokes. I think you will do better and more confidence. Great swing.
For someone so new to the game your swing tempo is lovely to behold.
Love this content 🔥🔝
Your distances are very close to mine, except my bag make up is 11° mini driver, 2 and 4 utility iron, 6 iron down to gw then a 56° sand wedge. An excellent video very well presented.
some of those carry yardages look familiar [almost the same as mine]. my gapping is roughly 11 yards between everything up to the 5i then it's 20 to the 7W and another 20 to the 5W
Nice work Mia! Get it working on the course so you can win lots more with the Golf Girls 😊
Sweet! We all need that tool
We seem to have multiple Mia Baker personalities going on 😂 . We have… Mia who is absolutely awesome in a simulator. Mia who has an absolute ball with the Golf Girls. Mia who seems to not understand how good she actually is, in a short golf career while on the golf course with experienced pros. Your confidence in front of the camera now is incredible. You really are a natural. This video gave a fascinating insight into fitting and now gapping. Who knew!? Defo time to get myself fitted soon. (BTW, I’ve got huge swing envy. So good Mia!)
That was a lot of fun. Very informative. And 5i go bye bye.
Great swing!!!
Mia your swing is coming on leaps and bounds. Great to see. Whereabouts in the UK did you get this Taylormade fitting?...very professional.
Very good gapping session and nice yardages! Please get a sand wedge!
She stays down so beautifully
Mia love your cool awesome video cas it’s way way cool your video
Can't lie, I had the evenflow riptide CB shaft on my driver,, it spun up so much for me, was killing my driver game. Swapped it out and spin is near perfect now. Golf is a weird science, I hate this game. Can't wait to play on Wednesday!!
a really important point is being highlighted here. Too many club golfers think about total distance more than carry. If you're 180 yards from the pin and that is say a 5i, maybe when you land in the bunker at the front of the green it wasn't a bad shot, you just do not understand how far your ball carries through the air.
Mia what camera you use footage is incredible
Great session! Now let’s hit the shower!
@mia which microphone are you using in the video? Those wireless ones.
Awesome 👍🔥
Wouldn't it be a dream to check how your game is going in a facility like this!
what was he thinking pulling out the stealth 2 plus head? glad he didn't suggest it in the end
Great swing Mia. So driver was averaging around 215 - 220?
You should check out Practical Golf (John Sherman). I think it’d help you tremendously as you already have a decent level of skill! Without any changes to your swing, you can drop a lot of shots.
yay!
He's a great fitter
I love my 7w.
Mia your swing is coming on leaps and bounds! Just a bit of advice to take out that left to right tendency on your drive swing. Your shoulders seem a little bit open at address. If you pull your right shoulder back a bit, it'd give you a shallower swing arc and keep that obvious push out at 2 o'clock swing path that you have, you'd turn your fade into a nice delicate draw. Anyway, loving the content as always, thank you! :)
I recommend your channel to my female friends for some good female golf content. Keep kicking butt Mia!
Phew my new woman crush for sure 😍😍
adorable
Hi Mia 👋😘😘😘😘😘
Very cool! Looks super expensive though. I know new drivers are around $500 without the fitting. Curious how much this all costs.

@@discr1709Wow lucky, I guess I have to start a youtube channel so I can get free stuff. LOL
Long irons are a pain to hit for me too
Nice swing but I think you're leaving 20-30 yards on the table with the mid irons. My unsolicited advice would be to speed up your take away in the backswing for more distance and shift your weight to your lead foot while the club is near the top of the backswing.

don't worry about where the ball goes initially. You'll be able to control it after your increase club head speed
Mia remember wat u said play with the golfing girls it only counts when ur playing on da course that's called being mentally ready
Mia get senoir shafts.😊
OMGOODNESS!!! 😃 That was incredibly Awesome!!! It was like a behind the scenes footage of what Tour Players do to help improve, and dial in their game!!! No wonder they hit such Amazing shots!!! Technology and skilled professionals behind the scenes 🤔 This raises a a serious question in my mind. Were the golfers a decade ago better than the golfers today? Absolutely Yes!!! Because they had to make their golf shots based on experience!!! Not Technology!!!

I am certainly sure that the greats like Jack Nicklaus, and Nick Faldo, never had a club fitting in the early days. They just knew from experience what they needed to do with their clubs!!!

This honestly raises the question of how good a tour Player is!!! In relation to a scratch golfer with the same technology!!!

I Guarantee! That if I was to give Nick Faldo my club's, and I was to play with a set of professional clubs designed for me, he would hands down win!!! LOL!!!
Lovely.

Nice video Mia! Three points of note... 1) You got fitted for these irons, and yet you didn't know you could adjust the loft 2) During your fitting you hit a 7 iron 170 yards I'd wager that the fitter you used wasn't very good if he didn't explain this stuff, and maybe his machine was juiced 3) You've got Taylormade clubs, that you were fitted for, and yet the lie angle was about 2 degrees out on some of them. Surely they built them? That tolerance is awful

Yes, having seen the video where she was fitted for the irons I couldn't understand why on this one they were carrying so short 🤨 Definitely something up...
what is the instructor doing at 21:45 of video- weird ?

Haha i assume cleaning the club heads, but looked weird
You hit about a club longer than I do.
That would throw me off not hitting into the middle of the simulator. That's rather odd.
very nice swing you have yout hips are staying behind a little bit
Yoga pants 😍😍😍
Great video but 33 yards covering 6 clubs probably needs looking at.
Hey Mia. Definitely enjoyed your gapping session but I have one major discrepancy that glares to me. If you look at your gaps in yds between clubs from Gap to 7W, It goes 13, 12, 10, 14, 7, 6, 9, 11, you have gaps as low as 6 yds and as high as 22 yds between clubs. If the fitter said his goal was 11-14 yds, he missed the mark on 4 of the 10 clubs. Doesn't seem to be making sense to me. May want to clarify that because if that is the case, why carry the 6 Iron when your 5 Hybrid covers the 11-14 yard gap perfectly. Just things I have learned when I was gapped 2 yrs ago and since then in research. Thanks otherwise for showing the process. Jason
I didn't know Ronnie O'Sullivan taught golf?

Mia, very interested and makes a lot of sense to do, video. I think the 2 of you need to go on a date. You called him gorgeous at the beginning of the video and if you didn’t notice, he was giving you the mating signs when he had the 2 driver heads in his hands at around the 22 minute mark. He was talking to you while rubbing them on his chest to polish them up. Good luck if you do! 😊
Take the 5i out of the bag.
Ignore the keyboard experts and just listen to the pros.

Marry me Mia 🎉
"Always working off carry" - no, it gives you both numbers so you note them both as different players will have different shot trajectories
@freshprinceofsolair

u work off carry because thats what u can control. u cant control what the ball does once it lands.
@prebi555
Жыл бұрын
While trajectories will change total distance, dry or wet ground, landing it ruff/semi/fairway/green has a way to big impact. So when planning a shot its often better to know where the ball will land
Toss the 5 iron get a couple wedges
looking forward to you opening your 'Only Fans' account
Don't listen to any of the 24hcp coaches in your comments, they think they know everything but can't fix their own game 🙄🤷♂️
Out of interest how come you have steel shafts in your Irons rather than graphite?
Wouldn’t worry about yardages tbh I’d concentrate more on just getting it around the golf course at the min your just adding something to think about 🤷♂️ that really you don’t require at your level at the min. Great channel tho 👍
Ok, here me out. If you're a new golfer, you should be improving monthly or so. You go to something like this, and within a few months, it's not relevant anymore as you progress. It's like buying a $1000 pair of shoes for a 3 year old. I guess if you're rich, then who cares, but most people aren't.
Better off with Ping. More forgiving.
