Thank you for explaining this like a real person. Math textbooks get exceptionally pretentious with language when describing nonlinear vs linear and the messages gets lost.

So I can't pay attention in class but I can pay attention watching videos like this...strange.

Same here brother my teacher goes over the lesson I straight ignore it and just play games then just watch a video and end up with an A it works out

2x + 5y + 4z = 10 is a LINEAR equation with 3 variables. If all variables are to the first power the equation is linear regardless of how many variables it has.

do you actually use or act out the exponent, or is it like when the answer to the area?as if the area were, say, 64in(squared) and the "(squared)" part doesent actually do anything.

Well, it's a Polish-originating last name, and I think it's pronounced differently in Polish. But we pronounce it "Shih-bill-ski."
