Sir, thanks for simple explanation on the topic. At 9:33 you mentioned that on announcement date share price will raise equivalent to dividend & on Ex Date share price will fall equivalent to dividend. My understanding is on announcement date the price will raise mainly because of sentiment boost due to dividend announcement & how much it will raise has no connection with dividend amount. On Record date the stock price will definitely correct by the dividend amount initially as investors are already entitled for the dividend. Afterwards the price movement will be as usual based on demand & Supply. Please correct me if I am wrong

Dividend ki record date tak agar share hold kiye hain toh aap ko dividend mile ga. Check payment date kya hai dividend ki.

Sir. I hve a question... Supposing ex dte 20jan and record dte 22 jan... Payment dte 25feb... If hold the share from 15 jan my demate sold out on 23jan(one day after record dte) will I get dividend

Ex dividend date ....before 1 day or 2 days of record date? As per my knowledge ...record date se 1 din working day pahle ex dividend date hoti h ...or dividend lene k liye ex dividend date se 1 din pahle share buy karna hota .....

Price adjust on ex date it self. Later reductions can happen due to other reasons
