"It is cold this morning" Judging by the lack of snow and your spring like attire, from my Minnesota perspective it looks damn right toasty where you are lol

Lol! Yea, I have lived in Texas for 9 years. I have gotten a little soft after growing up in Michigan.

Good video ... I also have the same problem with my "pink lady apple" but , I had good results by defoliating the tree manually at the begining of the winter season .

Thank you. I will try that. It still has the old leaves on it now and the new leaves are budding out.

I don't know exactly what your question is. Blueberries are not a tree but a bush. They do not have the same requirements.

I'm in Tx as well. My peach trees started to blossom and then we had that late frost. How can I tell how severe it hurt my tree?

The tree should be just fine. The cold probably just killed off the blossoms. It may not fruit this year but the tree should remain healthy.

You have tropical fruit that does not need any chill hours. There is no trick to growing other types of trees.

I heard if u remove all the leaves it will trigger dormancy is that true

No, that is not true. The temperature is what is crucial for dormancy.

@@venezia7252 Check your local University extension office. LSU probably has some charts on the best pears. As for chill hours, they do not need to be consecutive. However, if the temp gets above 60, it will start to reverse the number that have accumulated.
