Because there is always a “high caliber” QB in transfer portal…. High caliber are usually starters on original team

@@RichardC-so7ob there will always be “high caliber” QB transfers. It’s a matter of are you willing to pay the amount necessary to get them. Last year auburn didn’t want to go all-in on one. I didn’t necessarily agree with that outlook but here we are. If they don’t get Lewis or Lacey they will have to pony up in the portal.
