I can confidently review that this is the most informative Speedrun video I've seen of this series. (Possibly EVER). ・Thank you, Daniel. This video taught me tactics about 21 different transpositions. 5 early game, 9 mid-game, and 7 end-game. ・And that's just what I'm conscious of!
ive never felt analysis this deep before danya, thanks. you filled me up bro.

gotta say I really love this "thematic" approach to teaching openings where the same ideas are reinforced many times across positions - this video had a bunch with Be6/Rc8, b5, and Nxe5, and having these be reinforced made them really stick
Incredible game and great lesson, as usual. Really appreciate it!

Hey Danya, thanks so much for making this high-level chess knowledge available for everyone to learn from. You are an EXCELLENT teacher. I've been watching your speedrun videos religiously for a long time now. At the beginning of this journey, I would struggle to actually predict the moves you make, even after taking your 'hints' into account. But now, I'm able to predict many, maybe even most of your moves, even before the hints. The way you talk through every move is pedagogical mastery. I feel like I now have a mini-Danya in the back of my mind that I can consult. I can ask myself 'What would Danya say?' and it actually helps. Keep being awesome :D

Hey Daniel, just wanted to say thank you so much! been playing chess since I was 9 years old with my dad, fell off the game for many years and got back into it because of you. In the past 2 months I’ve gone from 1082 to 1473 ELO, largely due to watching your videos. I always had talent for the game, but I just fell off of it around 13. I basically played to become good enough to beat my dad and then forgot about it. Your videos have helped reignite my passion for the game. I watch almost every day, your positional analysis and your explanation of the deeper principles of chess have allowed me to play like an adult rather than a child. Most people try only to show cheap tricks and traps that rely on your opponent making a mistake, whereas you explore lines of “best play” in a way that a non GM can understand. Trying to discover/create that “best play” has always been what I enjoyed about chess and you reminded me of that. Thank you so much for all the work you do. I wish great success for you.

You’re a great teacher. Please, more accelerated dragon games/analysis! 🤞
Really excellent video Danya thanks! I play the hyper accelerated dragon for a year now and your explanations about the Maroczy lines really helped, keep them coming! 💪🏼🙌🏼
Not only is this another video for the Accelerated Dragon but a deep wealth of End Game knowledge!!!!! Double bonus!!!!! Thank you very much for the great content as always.
Loving the higher rated games, and especially deep thought and consideration on the level of the Kasparov on Kasparov books. Your own coaching perhaps necessitates a character such as R.B. Ramesh but the explanations you provide to my less advanced understanding especially in terms of strategy, I find incredibly useful to my own improvement. Welcoming the longer videos! Many thanks, M. D.
This one was really exciting! Great content as always Danya, thank you!
Fantastic game Danya, a real privilege to watch!!
I love you so much for uploading these videos, they are truly enjoyable.
Wow this is my favorite yet. The end game ideas, techniques and thought process are Golden. Thank you GM Naroditsky.
Kudos to Dana for the incredible job in this chess streaming video! His deep analysis, precise calculations, and engaging commentary truly make the games come alive. I'm always amazed by Dana's ability to break down complex positions and explain strategies in a way that's both educational and entertaining. His passion for the game is evident, and I'm grateful for the valuable insights he provides. Keep up the fantastic work, Dana! Looking forward to more insightful streams like this in the future. 🙌🏼🔥
I came really quick to this video! Thanks for the wonderful explanation :D
It's always incredibly interesting and insightful to have an analysis board open with these games. It's great how danya identifies the vast majority of relevant moves, even when he discounts the best computer moves. He will also sometimes beat himself up over a move he made that was technically the best move haha.
Daniel this educational content is articulated so expertly. Your teaching is unmatched!
Couldn't be more grateful for these videos. The depth and quality are second to none.

Thank you GM Naroditsky. You are by far the best chess teacher on KZread. Probably anywhere.
Thank you thank you and thank you… even when the games are not in the openings I play, I find great value in the way of thinking and processing positions.
I can't believe I ended up watching this entire video at 3 in the morning. Incredible.
Great video! I really like playing against Maroczy Bind, mainly because the plans for Black side are simple and natural! Thanks!
Awesome game Daniel! I learn so much from you thank you!
I feel that I have emerged from this video with a much deeper understanding of such endgames so now comes the tricky part of utilizing said understanding in a game of chess.
Love your content a lot danya! ❤
Great video! Thank you so much! ❤
Excellent content as always 👏👏
38:47 This tactic deserves an honorable mention. I also really loves this opponent’s playstyle, it has some kind of psychological pressure behind it.
this was beautiful. such a juicy game and analysis.
wow! this has to be the most amazing endgame analysis i've ever seen, thank you!!
A funny observation as a ~1700 Accelerated Dragon player - I employ the Hyper AD move order and actually get the open Sicilian VERY often at all levels from 1100 to 1700 in both blitz and rapid. Not sure why, the more common AD setup leads to so many anti-sicilians. Also glad to finally see coverage on the bind. Tho it's very funny that for instance Andrew Greet's book is like +50% dedicated to the Bind, yet it's unbelievably uncommon at the club level. So much theory for a line that white rarely even goes for.

You’re right, I’m also a 1700 rapid HAD player and I’ve only seen Marcoszy bind once against a 1900. It’s almost always open Sicilians

But both the Alapin and Smith Morra are quite testing against the hyper-accelerated, more so than the standard move order. But personally I've started to look forward to the Anti Sicilians now that I have a plan against each.
The explanation of the deep freeze is great. I've seen it in many high level games but haven't thought it out much.
thank you so much , love these lessons
Rh5 was a killer move this game. Great video, loved it

Whew! There was a lot of food for thought in this long video. At the end of it, I basically felt as if I'd graduated from an entire course on difficult rook and pawn endings. Not easy but chess at the higher levels is not supposed to be easy.

Standing ovation. 🙌👏🙌👏🙌👏🙌
The best chess teacher on the internet. Period.
You see these opponents a lot online, offbeat if not dubious opening but incredibly resourceful. Very strong defense from your opponent, hopefully they play OTB because they'll earn a title very quickly with this strength, given they play norm events of course. Very instructive as always, but especially so this game as a 2100 uscf player. Makes me want to get back to rated events myself, haven't been to one since covid.
Hi Danyya, thank you for all the great content you make. For future reference, I think you need to boost the audio level of your voice when you're recording with this setup. The sound is fine in terms of quality, it's just a bit too quiet. I hope that is helpful, I don't mean it as a criticism.
well played
Kiitos!
Those speedruns are really instructive to me in reguards to opening teory and some ideas. Would really like to also play rapid games against you but im probably playing at wrong times due to timezone difference. (around that rating range at like 2150 in slower controls)
¡Gracias!
Let's gooo new video
Thanks!
Hi, to answer your question (not sure of the time stamp) Wesley So's 1e4 repertoire (if you meant the one on chessable) doesn't enter the accelerated dragon line that we see here. That's because we don't enter into open sicilian. Against 2.Nc6 we go Bb5 the Rossolimo. We do have some Maroczy bind, but it's from another line (2. ...d6 Bb5+ Bd7 Bxd7 Qxd7 c4) and maybe somewhere else too, but if so I don't remember it
Thank you for your content Daniel. I almost feel like I can tell people that I study with a GM.
Thank you
Watching you play and analyze is a totally different experience than actually playing. Whenever I play I feel like a blind man trying to navigate through a maze. Do you have any suggestions on how I can start understanding the position better and figure out opponent's weaknesses and strengths?
dang you edited out the tic you do at 35:45 which is my absolute favorite quirk of yours!
Spotting the draw made me happy 😁
Funny that I was just going over the Lucena position before watching this game. It was cool to see it somewhat unfold in a high level game
13:11 I went to check from Stockfish and althought it says this position is equal I spotted as a 700 rated player the top engine move, which is to sac the rook for the knight! My 700 brain thought about sacing the rook for the knight and the pawn that recaptures the rook, but stockfish thinks that's a mistake, so I didn't see the contiuation, but sacin the rook for the knight at that moment is a viable option! You said you didn't see any really viable options of taking the knight back, but I and Stockfish (atleast the semi low depth) thought otherwise:D Okay it was mentioned immediatly after I continued the video, but I wanted to confirm that it's a viable option, you just got to move Qg3 next move according to stockfish and the position is equal. Oh I realized it, I think there's a forced repetition draw if black wants! That's the thing you missed. So yea there isn't a checkmate, but a there is a perpetual. White rook takes black knight on g5, xg5, Qg3 or Qg5, Kh8 forced, Qe5 and the y ou just check the king from g3 or g5, when it's on g8 and when it steps to h8, you check from e5 until you've repeated it three times. Okay yes you mention this at 16:12, sorry you didn't miss it. Anyways I'm proud of myself that I keep finding alot of these high level moves in videos (occasionally in games too), even thought I'm at novice level. Though in this case and in some other cases it's that I find the sacrifice that starts the mate, perpetual, material- or positional advantage sequence, but then I don't find the right follow up:D Like I said I wouldve picked up the pawn also after black recaptures the rook, which would've been a mistake.
My life depends on these speedruns. Are we going to get another one after this one? Pretty please 🙏
