The freewell K2 is what I would use on this cine lens
I think it’s the best of the cheap/fast aps-c cine lenses.

I first saw this lens in comparison against the night walker from Sirui and was really impressed by it. I clicked on your ref link and I can see that they have the same lens, but for L mount. Do I understand correctly that they also have full-frame version of those lenses for Panasonic S5II / S5IIX for example?

I believe it’s a s35 lens. So you won’t be using the full sensor unfortunately.

They have full frame versions too. I also have the s5iix but I haven’t bought the lens yet. The full frame lens is T2.0

Hi there Tongue! Stunning footage. I really wanna start filmmaking and im leaning to purchasing either this lens or the Laowa 35mm 0.95(I need a top notch low light lens). Which one of those would you say is better for general filmmaking, as in a better lens that Id be sure to use all the tine? I just wanna make the best decision here so I really wanted to ask you. I think part of my hesitation to buy the cine lens is the fear that it just might be a rehoused 7artisans 0.95 in disguise. Been watching your videos a lot lately by the way and I really find your insight valuable. Thanks so much for this channel

Hey man I cannot confirm 100% because there isn’t any information on it. But having shot with both photo and cine lenses it does feel like shooting with the same lens.

Question: 1.) will this lens be good for handheld slow motion? and is it difficult to manual focus when the subject is moving? 2.) does this lens need a gimbal? 3.) will this be good for photo portraits? or is it only entirely for video?

All this really boils down to is your skill in hand held footage. In terms of manual focusing.. it can be done but I think a follow focus would make this experience a lot better. This lens is good for photos as well.

Need a cine lens that has Cheap price but excellent Build Quality (Not Plastic Crap like Sony 50mm f1.8 Btw not into Sony system. LoL!) also has Character, soft and dreamy Filmic Look. I'm NOT into of Modern Sharp lenses that don't have Vintage Character.
