IDK how to beat R20 boss. The permanent scalling (which is 100% necessary even to get there) is mediocre. The best I'd found is milk buffing 2x cats. Glass is necessary to beat 1st boss. My R20 lineup is (from left->right) Royal - Snake (xChest) - Horse (better thief) - Butler - Milk - Cat - Cat - Glass - Guardian - Cow. Manage to snag Chest + Horse R0. Horse gave Butler. I wont spoil the 2nd boss.

I made the mistake of removing chest thinking that somehow i'll get enough coins to buy my 3rd cow. All the other games of this type give you partial ROI. Here, not only removing tower is hard to come by, you also get nerf by not getting anything out of doing so (except freeing a slot and some minor remove strat which sux imo). And I kept doing it because I'm so used to it. Haih. Devs mentioned that they're trying to distance themselves from that which inspired them to make this game but I think its a bad call.
