Why do Nigerians lie to themselves that the leaders are the only problem when a side by side comparison shows so many are just like their leaders. People abroad that have bad perceptions or experiences with Nigerians have never met the Nigerian government, just Nigerian people. Let's tell ourselves the truth about what some of us have allowed ourselves to become. It's not just the government at all. That's the truth. Put some Nigerians under other governments they STILL exhibit the same traits. Why? Because it is IN THEM.

What makes you think so? After all, it is one of the poorest countries in the world, lack of social and medical care, very high crime rate, terrible education, lack of scientific achievements, lack of educated youth, very low activity among young people, but high unemployment. It is a dangerous, highly overpopulated country, whose advantage is only natural resources (mainly oil). I ask you again! On what basis do you claim that this country will be a superpower in the future?
