I’m not even done watching the clip of Cody explaining what he did with his day but I had to stop and write this because my heart can’t take it! It is so fun seeing him excited to tell you about his day and the well spoken young man he is turning into. I’m looking over at my 7 week old baby boy in the swing and can’t wait for moments like these with him ❤️ thank you for sharing

Bonnie you almost had me in tears.. Panic attacks are no joke.. I’m sending you a Big ole Bear Hug all the way from Kentucky. I think we all are hard on ourselves, just know you are one heck of a Mother. Your children are so Blessed to have a Mother like you that loves them unconditionally and wants what’s best for them. It’s hard being a parent, heck we wasn’t given a manual on how to raise them much less how to correct them a properly.. I’ve said this too you many times, you have some of the Best Children, they are so well mannered and it shows the example you and Joel set before them.. We raise them and we hope pray what we’ve taught them enough so that it sticks with them for the rest of their lives.. I pray that your home sells soon. I can’t wait to see your New Home, I know it’s going too be Stunning and you will decorate it so pretty that it will look like something you see in a Magazine.. Your home now is beautiful and you’ve decorated it so pretty....

You are exactly correct in my opinion but your opinion is what matters because these are your children (and Joel’s) and you know them better than any of your viewers!

Aww I just love hearing about the kids playing with neighborhood friends. It makes my heart break a little for when you move (I hate change.... even positive change) I know there will be new, wonderful experiences awaiting them but this stage of life will never be back again. I'm thankful every day for my home in the country but will always look back with fondness at neighborhood life and the ease of my kids being entertained right outside our door. It's so strange to me how much I will miss your little brick house and yard. ♥️

Give yourself some grace with all that’s going on in your family. I LOVE longer vlogs and the real side of life. Love you! P.S. rewatch the beginning when you’re giving your children positive attention and praising them. 🥰

I love you, Bonnie. I sat here watching this video and cried with you.😢 When you said that all you wanted to do was take some ibuprofen and lay down, and then you received that message and you weren’t able to, my heart just went out to you. I don’t know how you do it. I am chronically ill, and I know how it feels when you just need to rest. It broke my heart that you ended up having such a busy day while not feeling well. (I’m just like you in the crying department…I cry all the time too.)😭 I just think that you are an amazing person! The way you and your husband are raising your children, you are incredible examples to us all. I just want you to know that you are loved.💜💜💜😘

Bonnie I feel your pain in everything you have covered in this vlog. Trying to deal with panic and anxiety is no joke, but you did it and got through that part of the day. Being a parent part of it is losing our cool and having a meltdown, you wouldn’t be human if you didn’t. Your a fantastic parent and your kids know they are your world and it is not always a bad thing for them to see real emotion in the moment. I totally understand that horrible feeling of guilt afterwards but your kids will understand and love how open and honest you are with them, that is true parenting. Your are a fantastic Mom and your kids are a credit to you and Joel so you are definitely doing lots of things right! ❤️

What a day you had! The look in your eyes with the mom guilt for losing it with the kids broke my heart and I just want to give you a big hug. We have all been there. Thank you for including that, it's so easy to look at your beautiful family and home and forget we only see a small edited part of your day and that behind all the beauty is a normal family just doing their best and some days are just hard to get through. Sounds like Olivia and Cody had an awesome day! I hope Bostons ankle is feeling better. Sending love from Wilsonville Oregon

Wow, what an intense day, I felt secondhand anxiety for you! I love how your kids all came into the laundry to hang out and talk about their day. My daughters always float over to wherever I am (no private space in my house!) and play their games where I am working. "Your family deserve the same consideration and respect as your friends" or "Your sister's feelings are as real and important as your friends'" are things I often say to my daughters, too.

Thank you for being real! We’ve all been there and will continue to go there ❤ I love that you give your kids freedoms based on their age/maturity and not just age as it’s so much more than a number. My oldest boy was way more mature at 5 than my second boy is and he certainly doesn’t have the freedoms his brother did. It’s how it is and keeps me sane 😊 I know you don’t love cell phones for kids, no judgement, but would toss out the Gizmo watch as it’s truly a lifesaver and gives me peace of mind for my youngest as I don’t want to helicopter him and allows him to learn to navigate life. Keep being you!!!!

It also happens to be the first and only time I got pulled over 🤣😂🤣😂 watch out for those double yellow lines and don’t back up over them!!! Don’t be hard on yourself, this is real life and thank you for sharing! I remember being Lincoln’s age when we moved and I remember running around the house cleaning it/my mom stressing out over it. Bonnie. I have have had a lot of medical procedures done in the last five years. Two shoulder replacements. So now even if I go to the dentist I am so anxious. It's got really bad lately. Luckily my dentist is utterly understanding. Also patient bless. I was in tears the last time. I only had to have one of my front teeth built up. As I had gotten a small crack on the bottom. It didn't hurt, it just looked horrible. Love your family. 😍😍Those children of yours are growing up so lovely. They are very respectful and kind to each other ad others. God bless you all. 🙏😍

Bonnie, getting a house ready to show is the most stressful thing. You want it all to be perfect as possible! I dare to say that most of us women would have reacted the very same way! In those moments, we have to take a deep breath and tell ourselves that if it’s meant to be those things will not be a make or break deal. We we looked for our home it’s more about location, the room sizes and layout, the quality of the home. The other things are very minor or the final decision. Your awesome showing us your real world. It makes us feel less pressure. I hate the dental work! I feel you there too! 🥰

Bonnie, I think that you are doing a GREAT job of rearing your children !!!! I think that it all depends upon how mature the child is and where you live whether you allow them to go out and do things on their own or with some friends who also should be trustworthy. I LOVE how you tell them that they have to be nice to their siblings before they can go and play with their friends. It's a WONDERFUL way to let them know how to interact with EVERYONE. It also shows them that they should be kind to everyone. This world is getting so "rough" and to know that you are training them in this manner is VERY heartwarming to me. I also LOVE the way that you get them to tell you about their day while you are doing housework. It shows them how interested in them that you truly are. I didn't get to hear about Lincoln's day though. What did he do ? I was kind of yucked-out about the way that they put the dead fish on the road and let people run over them. I think that a life lesson could have been learned here about respecting ALL of God's creatures - even if they ARE already dead . It just upset me to hear about that. So sad for the poor fish. Leaving the fish alone would have been the best thing to do so that nature's clean up crew could come and take care of the dead fish. (Ants ,etc..) Off of the road instead of on the road so that the clean up crew didn't get hurt while taking care of the dead fish. I DO KNOW that they are just children, but I think it's necessary to learn at ALL TIMES. I wouldn't tell them that they are in trouble or anything like that, but just to think about the way that God would feel about it before they do something like that again. I'm so sorry that you had to have a root canal done . I know that they can be VERY painful at times. Did you put ice on your face? You also might be able to put Ora Jel on your gums to help your pain. Ask your dentist if you can do that before you do it, though. Having a hair in your soup is a yucky thing to happen. Unless it's YOUR OWN hair !!!! THEN you at least know where it came from !!!!! If it was yours , that's not as bad as if it someone else's hair. YUCK !!!!! At least whomever pooped in their pants tried to clean it up. Even though they made a mess !!!! Bless your heart, you've had a VERY TERRIBLE DAY !!!! I used to work at a church run childcare and I have found that Avon's So Fresh (?) Oil that people take a soaking bath with takes the odor out of the air quickly when you need it to. You just put a few drops of it on a paper towel that you have folded and place it in the bottom of your trash can in the bathroom and it really works well. I used to put it in my diaper pail at childcare and it would really help to make my room smell so sweet and fresh !!!!!! I'm not sure if "So Fresh" is the name of it, though. It's been a LONG TIME since I used it and I can't remember the name of it exactly. I DO know that they used to sell it for people to put it on their skin to keep mosquitoes away. You might want to try putting ice and a wrap on Boston's ankle and try soaking it in Epsom salts as well as giving him ibuprofen if it's okay with his doctor for him to have it. I'm not sure if it was Boston or Cody whose ankle was hurt - sorry about that !!!!! I DO think that it was Boston, though. I'm just not positive about it. In getting back to the children going out by themselves or with some friends, I would be sure to tell them to be sure that they have their phones with them when they go out. Just in case they need to call you or the police if they have an emergency or if they feel threatened by someone near them.

The Avon product is called Ski so Soft. It was a liquid skin moisturizer that you sprayed on. Was just a fluke that it kept mosquitoes away 🤪😳😜

The last time I was at the dentist I was just trying not to pass out the ENTIRE TIME! I hate that I have so much anxiety every time I go. I loved the ending of this vlog, crying & laughing - 2 things I do best haha

Super relatable. For some crazy reason I decided to rescue strays after I raised my 3 kiddo’s, and it’s been harder and more frustrating than anything else I ever done in life. My cats make the biggest messes after Ive cleaned up after them all day. Makes my kids look like they were angels. Why did I do this to myself?!😂

I literally laughed out loud when Cody said he put dead fish on the road! Yeah as a driver I would of hated it but seriously that’s the funniest thing! Love that he’s just being a boy and having good safe fun! And now if I ever see a dead fish on the road I’m just going to chuckle and think of Cody.

I have gotten anxiety when I didn't know that is what it was called and went off on my kids over stuff like we need to go somewhere and there is so much to do etc. I feel for you. Now I KNOW what I'm doing and try to calm down but my anxiety is different about other things and I cry and worry about things more due to the situations happened. I love watching your vlogs and learn a lot. I don't judge. You are younger than me and have younger kids than I.

We all have meltdowns. Forgive yourself. My daughter once said to me when she was 17, “well at least your teaching us that you can have a total meltdown, ask for forgiveness and go back to normal life”. She was being dead serious and still applies that every time she says at age 34 and has a husband and a baby, as she calls it, “has to be taken off the ledge in a panic”. As in, “ things feel as if they are falling apart when they were supposed to fall in line”. Life is all a lesson in learning and growing, we have the opportunity to teach our kids about life, forgiveness and love. You both do that everyday.

Such a real moment! I can’t tell you how many times situations like that have happened to me cause that’s how things always roll for me, and I have blown up at the kids cause it was just the icing on top of the cake! Us women get blamed for going crazy but it’s usually cause a mom and wife’s job is never done! We take on so many roles and always have to put what we are going through personally aside just to deal with our daily life. So I get it totally! Here is a virtual hug 🤗 to let you know it happens

Omg Bonnie.. you have no idea how much I needed to see another mother in action today.. I'm a full time stay at home mom. I rarely get out. And sometimes it feels like I'm loosing my mind when all the kids try to talk to me, tell me their stories all at once, when I'm trying to get chores done. Then trying to keep an eye on the little ones at the same time.. it get crazy sometimes.. And sometimes I have to interupt one child to say something, sometimes I don't react to a story like they want me to. Makes me feel so very bad sometimes.. but seeing you do it, makes me feel a little less crazy and bad

I love that you can trust your community enough to give your kids some freedom. I’ve watched way too much True Crime I think…. My son is seven and I’m not even close to thinking about maaaaybe considering more freedoms for him unfortunately. I have 3.5 acres, he has freedoms in my yard 💗

I sure hope Boston's ankle heals. Oh I completely understand the dentist, I'm terrified because I've had so many issues as a kid with eyes and ears so my head is personal space and I just panic at the dentist. Selling house is so much work when you're still living in it. I'm sorry you had such a hard.

dont want to make you sad but in the laundry room where the kids were giving their stories. Boston was patiently waiting and we didn't get hear about his day. Boston did your soccer coach let you stay and watch. did you get a ball. Boston do you know how long it will be before you get to play.

Oh Bonnie I have been there. Our real estate agent had very specific instructions NOT to bother us on Saturday before 10:00 and not on Sunday at all. He would show up at our house with no call, no message whatsoever! He was THE worst!!! It happened so many weekends we completely flipped out on him! Having a house for sale is super stressful. I also would get so angry when people would open my kitchen/bathroom cabinets. Sorry for my rant. 😡 I hope you’re feeling better after your root canal. I’ve been there too, but I won’t rant about that. Lol

I had a tooth pulled at 8 months pregnant without proper numbing. They told me I couldn’t have Novocain and only a very small medication that had to be administered ever 20 mins. It was awful. Had a panic attack because it was taking 3 hours to pull a single tooth. I have such bad dental anxiety now. I get the laughing gas for everything!
