Mars is supposed to reach its rendezvous distance pretty soon and I've promised my life that it can go and play on Mars for a bit this decade. So I wish you a happy century and..." Moon: "Not so fast, you blue Marble. Aren't you forgetting something?" Earth: "Huh? What?" Moon: "You're supposed to give me a big shipment of oxygen in exchange for all the Helium-3 your life wants to take from me in half a century." Earth: "Moon. Moon. Think about that one, alright? You can't use Helium-3 because you don't have fusion reactors. Or even any life to build you one to begin with. Why would you even want new oxygen from me? I gave you more than enough to uphold your atmosphere an aeon ago. Have you used it up again?" Moon: "Youp. Refill me! How am I ever going to attract life if I can't offer it any oxygen?" Earth: "Why don't you start out with sulfur instead? It worked wonders for my life back in the day..." Moon: "Oxygen. Now!"

The problem with african medicine is that we haven't made enough effort to refine them. In the few cases where they have been packaged properly, they tend to be expensive. Yemkem and eniola naturalist care comes to mind here.

Get a grip. Britain built the modern world. We ushered in the industrialised world we have today. But we were a backwater during the height of the Roman Empire. Many parts of the world have had times when they flourished or were at the forefront of human development. Not everywhere though. Many peoples across the world never developed beyond a hunter-gatherer lifestyle and never came into contact with more advanced peoples. You simply have to acknowledge that not everywhere was equally developed throughout the world throughout history this is a fact of life. Modern science is mostly a product of Europe and our industrialised world is owed largely to Britain. That's simply how it is.

​@@Angel05433 First of all you don't know what the Dark Ages refers to. This refers to a period after the fall of Rome. Second of all you seem confused about what Black people refers to. (I wouldn't categorise, for example, Southern Indians such as Tamils as black though they have a dark complexion.) Black people are those of Sub-Saharan African origin and are an ethnically distinct category. Third, you seem confused regards when civillisations began to emerge proper. During the Stone Ages when early humans lived in caves, there were NO civillisations anywhere only bands of hunter-gatherers. The earliest civillisations emerged in the Mid-East, Egypt, Indus Valley, China, Andes and Meso-America. Sub-Saharan Africa has never been on the forefront of technology, not a single noteworthy philosophical idea let alone invention has emerged from Sub-Saharan Africa (i.e Blacks) at any point in human history. This channel and those like it exist because you can't accept reality.

The Egyptians also used crocodile feces as birth control. Alexandria was more Greek than anything and Egypt is in North Africa. I’d stick with western medicine over tree bark and gut stitches. That first century Ethiopian writing was Hebrew, followed by Greek Christian and later Latin with the Templars. Every culture had an oral history, that’s why writing is an ANCIENT advancement. You have no idea where the fleet from Mali landed, since the prince never returned. Having similar plants on different continents proves nothing.
