Here's my theory about why the clown characters abstract so much compared to the others So, as we know, Kaufmo was most likely abstracted due to his obsession over finding an exit. He was also able to see the exit doors, similarly to Pomni. I believe that their appearance also has something to do with any kind of issues the character is dealing with. The only appearance that we can infer the meaning for, if the appearances have a meaning, and possibly be correct would be the clown/jester. So it's possible that the clown/jester characters were already insane or going insane before they entered the digital circus. The reason why the clown/jester characters are the only ones who can see the exit may be because of what caine said at the beginning of the first episode/pilot. He mentioned how anything can happen in the digital circus. The clown/jester characters seem to be obsessed with leaving. Because of this, what they want will become 'true' by an exit door appearing. Most of these exit doors are not real because the circus has the power to make what a character wants seem to come true, when really it doesn't. Caine also seems to pick on Pomni the most. This may be due to multiple different reasons. The most likely reason is because she's the newest character, meaning he'll have to acknowledge that she's there so she doesn't feel unnoticed, lonely, etc. because loneliness is a common cause of insanity or other mental health issues, such as depression which can also lead to insanity. Another reason might be that he knows how the clowns/jesters can see the doors. He might be picking on her to distract her from the exit. The reason for this might be because, like he said, he doesn't want them to see his unfinished work, or maybe there's something more sinister behind his outgoing and child-friendly character. There are countless theories as to why he picks on pomni specifically and why it may be important. Another theory worth mentioning is that he was connected to the first clown character in a way. I know that Caine is technically connected to all characters, but maybe someone who was helping make the game or the creator themselves got trapped inside as a clown. That may be why the clown characters are obsessed with the exit. Going based on Pomni, if all of the clown characters were to be similar in personality and issues, the clown characters also seem to be more aware when they need to be, while when they're doing something that they don't really have to do, they get lost in their thoughts thinking about something more important. This was shown multiple times with Pomni. The most noteable one is, of course, when they went to see Kaufmo. She gets lost in her thoughts and may as well be unconscious, as she grew oblivious of everything around her. The clown characters do also seem to get obsessed with things easily. We can't exactly prove that, though. I mean, if you were a clown stuck in a digital world for all of eternity, you'd be obsessed with finding an exit, too. Well, we can't use Pomni to prove how all clown/jester characters most likely get obsessed with things easily. Pomni is newer to the circus, and I'm pretty sure she was just having a normal day until she found the headset. Considering how cautious she is while in the circus, I doubt she would have put the headset on if she was having a normal day. She was possibly very stressed about something, so she wanted a break. Then she ended up in a place of no known escape. If this was how she ended up in the circus, of course, she would want to escape more than she would have if she was just having a normal day and ended up in the circus. The clown/jester characters also seem like they're either more simplistic characters than the others or much more complex. It's possible that the clown/jester characters' obsessions with finding an exit represent how those characters run away from their problems in real life a lot. They would always look for an escape, but of course, wouldn't be able to find one. The reason why I believe this is because they're the only known characters that try excessively to escape. I can also use other characters, such as Zooble or Gangle, to support how the clown characters may be able to see the exit due to their problems. Zooble's character is able to move their parts around or take themselves apart whenever they want. This implies that Zooble may be facing an identity crisis or may have faced something in the past that caused them to be torn apart emotionally, and then they put themselves back together. Gangle's character obviously represents how she masked all the time in her life before the circus. She appeared as this happy figure with a perfect life and no issues, but really, she was most likely a depressed woman who just didn't want to show that. Due to her empathetic manors, it was most likely because she did not want to make others around her worry because of it, or because she wanted to help others rather than having them help her. Jax's character also may represent how he has no problems. That or he's just being a jerk to assert dominance and hide those problems. The animals are probably all like that. Kinger's character design can't be said for sure why it is what it is. This is because of how long he's been in the circus. We'll have to know more about what he was like when he first joined or around when he first joined to know for sure what it means. It got a bit off topic but whatever The theory is a wip and im realy tired so im gonna (hopefully) come back with more tomorrow K turns out i won't be able to be back as soon as i hoped, im still trying to gather more evidence and stuff to add to the theory, as it is a wip. Not only that, but school also started the day i was planning to come back so im trying to gather evidence while doing homework and stuff.

I have a theory! As we know Kaufmo has exit written all over his room so that tells me that all the clown characters including pomni can see the exit door but not any other character that’s not a clown/jester. and that’s why all the clowns/jesters abstracted This is my second theory. The reason I think jax bullies the characters is he has a huge dark past. do you guys know how sometimes the reason bullies bully is because THEY have been bullied before in the past so I think that’s what happened to jax BEFORE he got sent to the tent/tadc world 3rd theory. yo the glitch Twitter account, intended to advertise the series in Japan, announced a pre-premiere screening of episode 2 on April 25

I think is because every abstracted character is related to each circus member, for example: Dobby (the dog) is related to Jax since they're both animals.

My theory is when u abstract u escape but caine doesnt want u to know because he needs members to work in the circus and the abstracted have reached theyre breaking point then found out

Guys I have a theory. So if you watch the 2nd episode of the amazing digital circus you could see that Pomni is falling in the basement. And at the end you will see the same thing but everyone is helping her back up. Everyone except JAX this leaves me to believe the Jax will obstract next.
