( this reply is not an argument. just thought this comment was the right place to put it ) to be fair i don't think it's impossible but from personal experience it's very difficult unless you genuinely, truly care about each other on a different level. one of my exes i only loved romantically, and although it was genuine love i couldn't find it in myself to be friends with him. for one of my other exes, we held through and i still love him, even though it's not romantic. i would take a bullet for him but there is absolutely no spark of attraction between us. if i wasn't his friend before that, i would have never spoken to him again. i think care is at the root of any true relationship.

It’s so heartbreaking to see these things, especially when a couple is so loved by a social media platform, because in a way everyone, their followers, get attached to them and when these people break up, it many times brings the followers in a bad mind space too, reminding them of their worst breakups, feeling sad about not seeing their favourite couple on screen together anymore….

First year in 4 years that im not 1. Overweight (never obese just really chubby) Lost 40 IBS and then gained 15 IBS of muscle 2. Depressed Because of getting more friends working on myself and having a romantic relationship im much more happier 3. Single I got a gf, thats pretty much it 4. Lonely (friend based not romantically) I was tired of only having one friend so I put myself out to the people who sat next to me in some classes and became friends with them and now for the first time in 7 years i had a sleepover (12 of them in 5 months) And 5. Irresponsible I decided too (along with working on my body) become more responsible, i started actually caring about my hygiene and helping out around the house more and it has helped make me much more responsible 2024 is going amazing so far!
