Glad to see u go from independently critic runway shows to attending them. U don’t even know how motivational this video is
25 years ago, I could sneak in pretty much every fashion show in Paris. Daddy’s pro camera around the neck, Mamas Jil Sander clothes and a busy face did the trick.🤭 Always took the backstage entrance, hanged around backstage, took photos and then tried to get to the audience, to see the show. It was the time when Suzy Menkes hair roll stood firm like the Eiffel tower and the era of the supermodels. Claudia Schiffer, Kate Moss, Nadja Auermann, Tatijana Patitz,… For example I vividly remember Liza Minelli sitting on the floor with a pretty much naked Naomi, at John Galliano, YSL or Gaultier, having a chat. Also been at Dries van Noten and Ann Demeulemeester. Back then they were newcomers and the shows were charming and low budget. The only house I never got in was Chanel. They were well organised, I guess. Unfortunately I lost the photos including Lagerfelds autograph while moving 😢 It was a great experience for me and I miss the time, when everything was more relaxed during fashion week.

That was an iconic time for fashion, and things haven't been the same since. You are so fortunate to have been in the thick of it.

They were times of Art for art sake. Nowadays, its more impersonal and its all business... Takes the fun out of fashion in a lot of ways....

@@holyfox94 Wow ! I still think Galliano first collection for Dior (African inspired) is one of the best ever and still so relevant design wise. I only managed a Dior exhibition in Shanghai a few years back - cataloging from Mr Dior himself until Raf Simons... The Haute Couture distill collection was a sight to behold....
I love that the designer Charaf Tajer was a subscriber to your channel. That’s so cool. Also I would love to see some show notes breakdowns from this week.
Nothing is more inspiring than seeing you in Paris doing this. Showing us the parts of fashion that aren’t about hype or shopping, just fashion: how it works and the behind the flashing lights. I’m so happy for you ❤
Amazing ! This is was one of the realest fashion week vlogs. I’ve been here since your first 4 videos and to see you make it to paris fashion week is incredibly inspiring. Keep going bliss!

Thank you for the literal YEARS of support, Kaiya 💫💫
Bliss, you reingnited and revived my deep love for fashion. Your knowledge, thoughtfulness and curiosity are infectious. Thank you!
This was truly informative and interesting. The giant brands don't need any more promotion, and we don't learn anything from them anyway. This reminded me of old-school Elsa Klensch. Well done!
I didn't expect the casablanca dude to be so right
Being South African and seeing you rocking a Thebe Magugu sweater is heartwarming lol
So happy to see you at Paris Fashion Week!! Always insightful and interesting!
I absolutely loved this video, I’m studying fashion in Paris and haven’t been able to get into a fashion show yet. Thanks for showing us more about it.

See if you can volunteer at a show! I remember there was a program to do that for NYFW about 6 years ago, something like that might exist in Paris!
BLISS FOSTER, EVERYONE!!!! Giving us the side of Fashion week that actually makes you understand and be more interested and excited in fashion (if thats even a thing :)) Thank you Bliss!!
"THE GUY'" out of his comfort zone.. he called you the guy .... fire
when the designer references a piece from his own collection as a “trash bag” 😩💯

I loved that collection so much!
I am so excited about this video you are my favorite fashion critic here on KZread and one of my favorite channels overall! Thank you so much!
For me as a person who grew up in a country where there is no fashion industry or maybe a really tiny ine, to see this is like an unbelievable thing. All these relations between people, all this blingy and artsy life that was created by hard and bloody work for me seem like a miracle.
Bliss you are Godsent. Like shoutout to you for showcasing up and coming designers and I'm grateful your supporters have helped make this happen. I peeped the Thebe Magugu jersey your wore, it warms my heart to see you wearing the very designers you be putting us on to. The designers were so welcoming and willing to talk about their collections. I'm excited to see more videos! Let's keep supporting Bliss Foster everyone 💃🏾👏🏿💐💥
Happy to see you living out your passions Bliss it's truly great that you've gone from critiquing to actually being there in person. Wonderful stuff and I'm looking forward to more of it!
Woww this really gives me anxiety. There’s so many great and underrated designers out there. Thanks again for sharing a new perspective on fashion
Glad to see the close details of Maryll Rogge's design. I have not heard of her until now, and your journalism is definitely impressive.
Okay this is the only type of video from fashion shows I wanna see! Wow, wow, I love this. Yusuke's garments look unreal on the hangers, I can almost feel the fabric just looking at my screen! I love the socks omg!? i love the photography inside the Maryll Rogge's book too, am i the only one feeling like old Benetton--ish look is really making a comeback? Thank you for this vid Bliss !!!
Bliss!! I haven't ever been so happy for someone I don't even know, but it is incredible (and inspiring as hell) to see you grow and explore new things. Thank you for the channel and for just being yourself, as curious and genuine as you are. Definitely a great source of knowledge, entertainment, and inspiration.
Honestly bliss has the best fashion channel on KZread.
This is the best behind the scenes fashion week coverage I have ever seen. You provide great information throughout. I also love ❤ how you bring attention to up and coming designers with new fresh ideas. Editing was so good. ❤🧡💛
WOW! It’s honestly crazy to see how far you’ve gone and I imagine it must feel amazing to see your hard work pay off. I’m rooting for you all the way. Keep up the great work as always 🤗😁
I love your hair❤️! You deserved to be in frontrows of every big shows!
Exactly what we needed! Bliss, your growth is unbelievable. Thank you for providing us with the best fashion content on youtube.
dries van noten actually has a history in fragrance!! there is a now discontinued frederic malle x dries van noten perfume that sold really well and is now a cult item for fragrance people edit: discontinued, not limited edition. people suspect it was discontinued because dvn was launching their own fragrance line
Finally a FW content that I actually enjoy. Tired of people showing their looks that I don't care
amazing vid as always
I feel so excited for you Bliss! I remember my first time there. It's so exhilarating to actually be there and feel the mood irl. Of course there is a LOT of BS but the designers that are the real deal and authentic make it worthwhile and you never, ever forget those special moments.
16:41 never thought I’d ever see bliss rocking a VETEMENTS tee
Yes!! Well done Bliss 💜 I'm so glad Diane hooked you up with the Dries presentation, so stunning. I can see the DP vlogging influence in this wonderful entry of yours and it's lovely, intentional or not 😊
Loved this so much! You made Paris fashion week approachable which is hard to do! Hope to see you out and about at fashion weeks more often in the future, love your unique take on it!
Your unpretentious and realness is refreshing. I have always enjoyed your content and you showing honesty, intelligence, and humility, while educating us is wonderful.
Loved this video! This is the type of coverage I love to see from Fashion Week but can rarely find! Thank you for your insight and work.
Very nice video! It's so refreshing to hear an articulate person who doesn't say "uh" constantly. It's also great to see new designers that we'll probably never see in Vogue. Good luck!

I’m so lucky I have editing software 😌 I say “um” like 40 times a minute 🤣
Thank you so much for this video! I really loved this - it shows a whole different side to fashion week than I’ve seen before. I think the shows you were able to go to were way cooler than the ones on the runway, mainly because as you said in the video, you can actually see the clothes! Hope you had a good time filming this! Learning so much from your channel
Your videos are everything I need in life!! I think you would be a great professor in a fashion or art school. So much passion and insight.
Great video! Love how you showcased new and old brands. Never seen a behind the scene look of fashion week shows . Thank you
that was epic. looking forward for all the remaining parts of this legendary trip. thanks
So interesting, enjoyed every minute. Thank you!

congrats dream come true, hopefully, I can do it sooner than later, being from Argentina, Luxury clothes and brands are so far away from our reach that having this sort of video gets us close to the fantasy. great job Bliss :)
This was absolutely amazing! I don't think I've ever seen such an actual unedited look into the entire process. I'm still so happy that you got to watch the Rick Show! It was like I vicariously attending something that beautiful

excited for the rest of the fashion week vids! it's awesome that you're doing this!
You gave an in sight to small brands that’s amazing thank you💞
There's actually one funny thing occurred during PFW: there are numbers of Indonesian brands that claimed to participate at last PFW this year. They flew to Paris with some influencers (i think most of them are not a fashion influencer), held fashion shows around Paris, and boast it on their social media that they are participating in PFW (which they are not). Almost everyone in Indonesia were proud of that since they are easily impressed with the idea of "go international", until some people called out the brands for faking their PFW participation and showed the list of brands that participated in the event on Twitter. Following the incident, PFW released a statement via IG stories regarding some brands that faking their PFW participation. The funniest thing is, a famous Indonesian fried chicken chain restaurant is among the brands that set up a fashion show in Paris by collaborating with a random designer and the collection is so awful!

Thanks for this video and Casa is my fav
Awesome experience. We are happy for you and we enjoy 😉 the amazing shows
Love this!
Loved the video! Such a good way to be introduced to you and as well to some brands…
This video is just amazing ! I really hope to see this kind of format again! You really bring something different (except you and Loïc I don’t really have in mind people doing video on FW focus on designer, brand and garments… most video about FW on Ytb are vlog etc and very me myself and I which is boring imo), with your humour and question it’s a real pleasure to watch this! Also very natural and kind, wich is not always easy in this kind of industry! Keep it up! I follow it from Paris!
Very interesting to see some other side of Paris Fashion week! Looking forward to seeing the next video!
Fantastic you always put in a lot of work in your videos but this is on another level. Can’t wait for part 2
