I have been trying to say this same thing! You explained this whole topic of free will better than I have ever heard it taught, having lived out what you explained that happens, I can say that this truth, without a doubt it does happen this way. I was the prodigal, I had made up my mind what I was going to do, and I made my plans. Without me even going to rhe Father and repenting and crying out to Him to change me (in the beginning) He saught ME, He changed MY mind, heart, will, and desires. I didn't ask for it, but once that change started, I have never not be thankful He did, because my heart was transformed. I had people praying for me, so don't stop praying for your spouses and loved ones. Don't let their "free will" be your cop out, your excuse, to stop praying for them, this is where and when they need your faithfulness in praying and believing, the most! Their "free" will isnt free at all, it's a trap, it's based on the lies the enemy is feeding them and that is not free anything! They are trapped. Only God can truly free them. Fantastic, phenomenal job explaining this topic in this video, it truly does work like this. God moves and changes people period, believe it.❤

What an amazing testimony! If u don't mind me asking, are you and your covenant spouse back together now? I'm a second time stander. Sometimes I battle with if this is what I am supposed to be doing. I mean he did int before where our divorce was canceled but it's happening again where my husband has left our home and family. He says he loves me but finally loves himself more. No adultery or abuse. Miscommunication and not walking in a kingdom way even though God has called my husband to preach the gospel. I personally stopped putting God first and idolized my marriage. I kniw there is purpose for everything that He allows, it just gets hard at time and I'm asking God to deal with my unbelief especially when my Prodigal Spouse runs and tells me he wants a divorce.

@@mesha8374 My marriage is not restored in the natural yet. I don't think God would not be behind someone believing in His will for you, your spouse and marriage, God doesnt endorse divorce. You seen 1st hand how God can move and restore, so don't let discouragement trip you up. Your spouse needs your seeking, believing and praying for him, you may be the only one doing so. Remember what I experienced.....your husband has been lied to by the enemy and is listening to his lies, it's a dangerous road and I wish my spouse would have stood for me in the beginning but that wasnt the road God allowed us to travel. This is your road and your journey, sucks bad at times I know, but hang in there. It will be worth it, your husband is worth it. ❤

@@samgourzis9300 I was gone for 6 years (3 of those years I was in an adulterous remarriage), but God was constantly working on my heart. My one-flesh husband of my youth rejected me when I repented and begged his forgiveness in 2014. God brought me back to our hometown that year. God provided a job and good place for me to live...while I wait for Him to get through to my husband and restore our marriage.

The last time he did that was 7 years ago when I first moved back here. He also texted me for Mother's Day this year for the very first time. I will not give up hope.

Speaking on infidelity, I was the guilty party and came back to Christ in 2019 and been separated with my wife since then. Now she’s filed for divorce because she needs “time away from the marriage to heal, can’t be the best mom to the girls while married to me” etc. I am committed to standing for my marriage, my wife, and my family! She’s not a prodigal, and is deeply hurt from my past actions. She and her church believes she’s not sinning and has the biblical right to divorce. I don’t necessarily argue that but my church has a completely viewpoint. My church says yea she has the right to leave but they would NEVER encourage her to do that. Please join me in prayer for the devil to be defeated, for my marriage and family to be restored, and God’s perfect will be done.

@@milabracha we are divorced as of March. However I’m still always around and in her life in some respects and I get to see the girls every day. I basically only sleep at my dads and still do the daily stuff at our house. I know she’s been wanting to sell the house now and move to a condo but I believe that’s because she wants a fresh start, because who in their right mind would sell in this market and for much less than the house is worth??

I do agree with what your church says. She does have right to divorce but that shouldn’t be encouraged. I saw marriage restored even after divorce. I hope and pray that you will stay closer to the Lord and the Word. It will strengthen you and give you wisdom you need. She may need some time more than you expect, respect her and pray for her. Once she sees Jesus in you, she will be off-guard knowing that you are trustworthy. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 stay strong!

If there's been infidelity, you must understand that that action has shattered someones self worth, self esteem and confidence, ability to function at work, as a parent, as a friend properly. The spouse guilty of the offense should show PATIENCE, LOVE, COMPASSION, genuine AFFECTION not fake anything, or try to deflect but ask God for mercy and to see the betrayed spouses WORTH and BEAUTY and ask to be held accountable by the holy spirit. That person has broken someone's trust and completely perverted God's original design for marriage (or better said gone directly against the husbands role to love his wife. He has instead followed his flesh to do the devils will and that MUST lead to being heartbroken for that sin before God and the covenant spouse and children, and you should thank God for his mercy bc someone who can cheat and cover it up while profession Christ as his/her Lord and saviour will not be recognized by him but instead asked to be departed from him if unrepentant) The one who has been in adultery should know they have inflicted a type of pain they will probably never understand. But through God's love forgiveness and restoration can be done. God bless.

I have prayed to find at least 3 other believers to stand with me with no room for doubt. It’s proven difficult but with God all things are possible and He is faithful 🙏💕 My husband left over 2 months ago and is running from the truth of God. He now denies there’s an enemy and has declared he’s committed to moving on from our marriage. My heart is broken but that is where Abba Father brought me to work out my own salvation.

This message has brought so much faith and encouragement in my life right now. My husband of 4 yrs left me a week ago after I found out of his infidelity. However, he had already been distant and withdrawn from me a few weeks prior. I have sought the Lord to find forgiveness in my heart towards my husband. Love conquers all, and I love my husband. I forgive him with the same forgiveness that I am forgiven. I still show love and compassion even when he’s rude, mean and harsh with his words. @Ariaan Arnold Sharma hi, I did call him and he was still not willing to come back. During that time he got sick with COVID and was in critical conditions. I flew out all the way to were he was hospitalized as stayed there until he was released and together came back home. However, things weren’t the same. His heart changed, he seemed different and this time he seems lost and I can only pray for God to reach him in the place he is at right now. I believe God will do it. As of right now, he’s gone again and he’s decided not to be in this marriage anymore. But I trust the Lord in all His splendor and goodness even when I am hurting.

My cousin told me he has free will, my aunts as well, and my uncle a pastor told me to divorce him telling me I'm gonna be waiting 20 plus years for him.. My husband doesn't even believe Gods gonna restore us. But it just never sat well with me what they said and I found standers on FB and KZread.. So im trusting God not others.

Loved this…a lot of people believe God won’t go over someone’s will. My wife once told me that about myself but she just was standing and having faith. She’s filed for divorce but I’m still standing and believing God will restore my marriage and it will be a greater love and commitment than before. I just see finding this video as confirmation that I am on the right path and as I pray accordingly to God word it will be honored.

Paul absolutely had free will; he could have said no and continued to have Christians killed. If he had said no, then we just wouldn't have heard of the story. PS since God stepped in so dramatically, if Saul had said no, God may have also ended Saul like He did with the couple that withheld the money in Acts.

Please lift up my wife and I in your prayers. I struggled for years with insecurity, anger, and sexual immorality and had several affairs throughout 17 years of marriage. 3 years ago I repented and was broken and gave my life to Christ. My wife is a Christian but she’s been consistent in her stance of forgiveness without reconciliation. She said the marriage is dead and just wants a friendship. She said she’s traumatized damaged hurt angry etc etc. she does not love me except as a brother in Christ. Now we’re headed to a Christian divorce mediation attorney to begin paperwork for divorce. I deeply love my wife and want this marriage saved. Not just for us but for our three beautiful girls. I know I don’t deserve another/final chance but I’m begging God for one. Jason!!!!!!! You have no idea what this video brought to me tonight. The Holy Spirit was 100% talking through you because there is no one on this planet that can dispute a single word you said. I cross referenced the ESV with the KJV, I have just always used that version, but they were spot on with each other. Your dialog and enthusiasm has totally shifted my way of prayer, not only for my marriage but for everyone that I pray for now. The “Free Will” card has been played by each and every person that has been spectating my walk with Christ through my divorce. After 6 months of searching, watching, reading and listening, you have ministered to me tonight in a way that I can’t even convince myself anymore to not have full faith. I will never again say, “but I know they have free will Lord” anywhere in my prayers. You are totally right when you said if they make the choices, where is the Glory to the Lord in that. I never thought about that until tonight. I just can’t say enough about how this last hour has helped me to understand the love of the Father in a more clear way. I would literally undermine every prayer I have said over the last 6 months on the foundation of “Free Will” clause. This is one of those, hiding in plain sight, tactics Satan has mastered. Within the past three weeks, God has moved mountains in my life and in my faith. It’s no surprise that this video popped up at the exact time I watched it one year ago. As I mentioned before in my post a year ago, this was one of the main, if not the main turning points for my faith and my belief that God was going to restore my marriage. It was as though Jason was reading my mail. Everything that he stated in this video was exactly what I had come up against. My relationship with my Creator, savior, and best friend has grown by galaxies. Please share this video with anyone you know that needs to hear it. Not just for a restoration of a marriage about for any situation in their life that the world is telling them God has no control over. I know in my heart, it will not be long before I am giving a praise report, and a testimony of reconciliation of my family and just like Jason has his pillars, Jason, if you ever read this comment, please know that you were used as a pillar in my life, my immediate families, life and my core families life. But most importantly, you were used as a pillar for my future lineage.

I am so thankful you’re speaking up on this. I’ve been through so many relationships where pastors have been the culprit that’s made me give up on believing that God WILL. The Holy Spirit gave me an understanding about free will. He showed that free will is attached or is directly related to what is in the heart. Question is, can God change a person's free will? YES! He does it by changing, softening their heart. If your heart is hard, sin will dominate because sin proceeds from a hard heart. If you heart is soft then righteousness will dominate because righteousness will proceed from the heart. So we should pray for people's hearts to be softened and as God softens their heart, their free will, will also be turned back to God and righteousness. Plenty of examples in the scriptures of God softening and hardening people's hearts and their free will changing with it. The Holy Spirit showed me it is as simple as that

I love this explanation of free will. It also makes a huge difference I believe if your spouse is a believer because God can use the things they know and say they don’t believe in as a Christian to convict them. My husband of 22 years left just 2 short weeks ago and I am praying everyday for a reconciliation as I know he doesn’t believe in this. He has allowed the enemy to wear him down and lie to him. I had this happen at first, until the Holy Spirit gave me the words to these same people and they backed down and accepted that they see the changes in me and that’s enough evidence for them to believe yes, this is God. This is literally what my Seventh Day Adventist neighbor says to me every day. I just tell him that he follows the wrong God. My God can do ANYTHING!

I’m reading everyone’s comments many of them are mostly women and it’s so sad to see that so many of us are going through marriage separation and standing for our prodigals. My main question is why is God allowing this all to happen to so many of us? Especially to the women? And not only is it happening to us but most of us have yo stand for our marriages for many months and even years. I love the Our Father in heaven with all my heart, but he has promised us peace, hope, and a future. Why does he allow all this pain and confusion to happen within our marriages if he is a God who does not creat confusion? Who doesn’t want to see us fail? I don’t understand. God tells us to call on him and he will answer us but I never hear him, God said he will deliver us from our distress but some of us are still standing after 20 years.. God said that whatever we ask for according to his will we will receive it but yet restoration still does not happen… It’s hard to believe that my husband doesn’t have 100% free will when there’s clear proof.

Truly believed,his words never change,God is Powerful he can do all things,

Friends family members say all kind but God has the final say no matter what Faith is what I have

Amazing how people believe the enemy can influence at all times and yet not God. That does not seem like a fair battle and yet God is fair. I pray my husband's heart is softened and reminded of the beauty in our marriage and family. I pray that he finds happiness doing what is right and that he will be grateful one day that God intervened to bring his heart back. I pray that the influence of the enemy weakens and that my husband comes out of the fog into the clarity of truth. I pray it is time Lord. No more of what has been breaking us. I pray for his heart to be purified and that he has the desire to reject the darkness and protect himself, us as a couple and our family. I pray that you use the fact he is home and trying Lord to multiple the momentum and breath life back into our love. I am grateful he is here.

Greetings, thank you for this on time message. You hit the nail on the head when you mentioned how someone specifically Christians that push the "your spouse has freewill" narrative can lead to great distress and discouragement. Thank you for reminding me the importance of praying. God gave me the following bible verses when I questioned the purpose of praying: 2 Corinthians 1:9-11 9 Indeed, we felt within ourselves that we had received the [very] sentence of death, but that was to keep us from trusting in and depending on ourselves instead of on God Who raises the dead. 10 [For it is He] Who rescued and saved us from such a perilous death, and He will still rescue and save us; in and on Him we have set our hope (our joyful and confident expectation) that He will again deliver us [from danger and destruction and [a]draw us to Himself], 11 While you also cooperate by your prayers for us [helping and laboring together with us]. Thus [the lips of] many persons [turned toward God will eventually] give thanks on our behalf for the grace (the blessing of deliverance) granted us at the request of the many who have prayed. The only point that I respectfully disagree with is when you mentioned that everyone's marriage will be restored. Please forgive me if I heard you incorrectly. In Ezra 10:3, it indicates that every marriage convenant is not always God's will. Also, in Mark 10:9, “What therefore God has united (joined together), let not man separate or divide.” This clearly does not include marriages God did not put together like the marriage between Ahab and Jezebel. During the standing process, many standers need to seek God if it is His will that He restores their marriage as the Holy Spirit will guide standers in all truth (John 16:13). Additionally, not everyone will receive a direct "thus saith the Lord" prophetic word from God, but He will continue to confirm via the Holy Scriptures. There are plenty of marriage restoration stories where the stander did not hear from God directly but God confirmed in His word and the stander knew in their heart that God did indeed put them and their spouse together in Holy Matrimony and that He would restore their marriage. God Bless and thank you again for this edifying message.

I hear it all the time . They tell me with tears in their eyes “ please, move on , let him go . There is someone else waiting for you “! Do you really think that God wants you to be standing for him and be miserable at the same time? That is what they telling me. I lost all hope today

Don't give up. Walk by faith and not by sight. Just like with Job in the Bible, everyone around him was telling him all the wrong things. Spend time with the Lord and listen to him speak to your heart. He is for marriage and the word is clear that he hates divorce. Stand for your marriage and know that God is standing with you.

I appreciate this so much... I have been told a few times...You have to be willing to accept God´s will... Your husband has made his decision. You can not force someone to love you... This message has confirmed my firm desire to stand and pray. If that counsel (they have free will, can not force them) if that was from God then you must apply it to salvation, too. Ohhh you can not force them to come to Jesus... they have their free will so don´t pray anymore for their salvation!!! OF COURSE NOT. Never , Never , give up ! Because ... what about God´s will. HIS WILL is for the marriage to be restored.... and ... we are going to pray according to God´s will. !!!!

Thought also comes to mind...the devil blinds people's minds. If they are blinded, it is not free will they are operating under, but bondage and deception. So pray, God brings light and then they can truly choose - and very few on meeting Love choose to reject Him.

Does she have a video where she testifies and shares some of her details of her story? I find it interesting how she thought the Lord told her to divorce. I would love for Christine to speak with the mother of my 4 beautiful children. 8 years and I continue believing for supernatural restoration. You are my new favorite because you instill so much hope and faith for those who believe in marriage permanence/indissolubility of marriage. I like how you have coined the phrase of "Stander". Yes, had a close minister tell me "he's not going to change, you need to wake up & factor him out. You'll be raising your kids alone" I just don't agree. I know God called me to stand fully. I'm pregnant and at a crossroad. 🙏🏾

Dear sister. I stand with you, Moriah! There are many stories of miraculous marriage restorations. I hope you are encouraged. No marriage is gone too far! Cling to Him and take Him at His word! The last pastor I spoke with told me “I have no hope for your husband.” CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT??? A PASTOR!!! Of over 25 years!!! My God have mercy! How cold and heartbroken we have become as a body of believers. We are being deceived!! (I did not speak with that pastor again. I went home devastated and almost hopeless. But God is faithful and His promises don’t change! He answered my cry and continues to be near my broken-heart.
