Is it just me or the energy Martinez brings to the game is amazing, he’s so quick on his feet and really wants to play ball - definitely a great addition to the squad! He was two steps ahead of stopping that own goal, just look at his response time, simply amazing! Win or Loose, Trust Ten Hag peeps, and give him time! The Only reason Ronaldo didnt start against Liverpool was because Ten Hag wanted pace and energy upfront. Liverpool play with a high line and Rashfords pace makes him ideal for playing against them. Thats also why Elanga started. What happens when we play against teams who sit deep? Rashfords pace wont be as effective and we will need Ronaldo in the box getting on to headers, making clever near post runs and linking up the play.

But there was also the Manchester of old with relentless, fast, direct counter attacking football. A combination of what makes Ten Hag great, and what our great club is known for. This was beautiful to watch. This is Manchester United.

@@eugineonyando4786 exactly. That was ETH tactics in Ajax when they bulldozed the champions league in 2018/19. He played Tadic as false 9 while using Neres and Ziyech to cause havoc. If we get Antony and Gakpo it would make his job more easier. He would rotate them very well.
